He is an aggressive dude. Love to watch him run.

We have a lot of them here too. While they can be obnoxious, I can hang with them and have a good time. The Bostonians, with the exception of a few, stick to themselves. Don't mix with the local folks. I don't know if we just got a sour bunch here that are pissed off because AA laid them off and just hate living here, which they obviously do, or what, but they are no fun at all.

Rick...

A couple of points. Generally speaking, the northeast part of the country has NEVER been known for having the most friendly folks on the planet, and I certainly wouldn't even argue otherwise! It's definitely not just a Boston thing. I have been throughout the northeast, and the attitude isn't all that different from state to state! As I tell people...you spend a few winters in New England, and we'll see how cheery you are

I have some perspective on the whole not "mixing" with local folks. I grew up just outside of Boston and now live in the south (moving back as soon as I can get my house sold), and I can tell you that it's VERY different culturally! It's actually quite shocking to the system. I've lived in North Carolina for a year now, and haven't found a single person who I can even remotely identify with. Not to mention, with my Boston accent, and the ridiculous southern twang everyone has here, it's not really conducive to having a conversation with anyone

The entire NEC is a shithole. With the exception of Providence, RI and I hate to say it, Boston, and to some extent Baltimore, the rest is filthy shit.

Hey, you all who live there stay! Don't come west.

Just because a guy is a stud in college doesn't mean he'll continue to be a stud player in the NFL!

I give you Adrian Peterson from University of Oklahoma and now the Minnesota Vikings.

The Dallas Cowboys are the most identifiable sports team in sports, period, including yea, the New York Yankees, Montreal Canadiens, and even the New England Patriots.

I think England's Manchester United is more known throughout the Sports world. A close second is The South Sydney Rabbitohs...just kidding, I threw that in there because IA) Andrew is an Aussie and B) I saw them on Vs. Channel. Russell Crowe is one of the owners.

New England is awesome no doubt. They are the team to beat this yeat and now only 1 team has that chance. It should be a great game, the Giants have the same pieces that the Chargers do except, other than Shockey, they are healthy at ALL of their skill positions.
Oh and check out the Charger Girls:

Jones is a joke, but at least he puts money into the team unlike our baseball team owner.

The success Adrian Peterson has had means absolutely NOTHING! A couple of points here. There are A LOT of players who have been complete busts in the NFL, after being stud players in college! Ever hear of Ryan Leaf??? Blair Thomas??? KiJana Carter (Ask Joepa about these two Penn State stiffs)? Lawrence Phillips? Heath Shuler? Todd Marinovich? Andre Ware? I could go on, but I think you get the point! Also, let's not put Peterson into the hall of fame, after one good season! I think the guy is the real deal. My point is that you don't trade away TWO FIRST ROUND picks and Marion Barber for the first pick, even if McFadden turns out to be a stud running back! Great running backs can be found MUCH later in the draft, without giving away some key building blocks for the future of your team!

I think the guy is a moron but a great owner.

I'm not sure what you base Jones being a "great owner" on, Dean! I'm not sure you could find 10 Cowboy fans in the country, that would agree with you! He's a meddling owner, who NEVER allows his football people to make football decisions! He's not a great owner, AT ALL! Just because Jones spends money to get players doesn't mean he's a great owner. The guy is a clown!

As for McFadden...As I said, he very well may turn into a great pro running back! Even if he does, he's isn't worth TWO first round picks and Marion Barber! I wouldn't give up two first round picks and Barber for Tomlinson! Football championships aren't won by one guy, and never have been! Ask San Diego what they've won with Tomlinson in their backfield! There have been many great running backs in NFL history who weren't even taken in the first 3 rounds (Curtis Martin and Terrell Davis come to mind)! Let us not forget that Blair Thomas was taken out of Penn State about 15 picks ahead of Emmitt Smith!!!!! Just because a guy is a stud in college doesn't mean he'll continue to be a stud player in the NFL!

i think he won a few super bowls... with Johnson and Switzer.. so not that terrible of an owner... had Aikmen and Emmitt Smith plus all those great defenses in the 90s... yeah crappy owner.. and moron
yeah right. That would be steal getting McFadden---he could very well be the next Emmitt Smith, Romo only will be in 4th year... you got TO...

If he gets rid of Barber AND Two picks...I'll officially say that Jones has lost his fucking mind.
I heard the news about Campo a few days ago....and all I could say was "Huh....WHY??". Nobody around me (All 'Boys fans) couldn't answer anything better. :?
