Hillary still has a firewall in Texas, Pennsylvania and Ohio. I still think she is the better of the 2, but Obama does inspire the soul, that's for sure.

The GOP has no shot whatsoever, and anyone with a brain can see they are finished.

Is this the same Deano that told me: "Hillary is your next President. Get over it."??

I would actually prefer it if Hillary got the nomination. So until the nomination process is over, Go HILLARY!

Oh she can absolutely still win. All I know is I may wrong about Hillary, but I DO know your party ain't winning shit. And be careful for what you slimy republicans ask for. You have never beat the Clinton's....ever.They fight your sleazy scum smear campaigns, turn it around on you, and win the election.

The Clinton's are king when it comes to corruption. Why are we "slimy"??

Wooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell yeah!

Let's lose the war, and then watch the mass-murder of the Iraqi people that will make the last 4 years seem pale in comparison...
Let's give Al-Qaeda an entire country to plan their attacks, so that we can endure even more terrorist attacks...
Let's raise our taxes and keep our borders open...
We'll also be more than happy to let the 12 million+ illegal aliens stay here, while the ones who have spent years trying to immigrate here legally wait even longer...
And while we're at it, we'll gladly give more of our paychecks to support those who are too lazy to bother to go to work everyday.

That is indeed change!

Yippeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Inbred, we were never attacked with on our soil like 9/11 like we were with Bush and his crack team.

There is such a thing called brains and structure, something your nimrodded president never heard of.

Fuck you, and every other republican that thinks Obama or Hill can't do the job. A vote for McCain is a vote for more Bush. Mark my words, that will be the anthem, the saying that will bury Mr McCain. I respect McCain because that guy sacrificed his life for America, but he is brain dead.

As for your hillbilly line of thunk, read a fuckin newspaper hick. Lose the colourd glasses.

Obama is the next Bobby Kennedy, something this country needs.

George W. Bush waged a war on Iraq based on false intelligence and motivated by his maverick cowboy mentality, killing thousands of U.S. soldiers and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens. When he realized he made a mistake, he didn't cut the losses - he increased them. We had no right to invade this sovereign country that posed absolutely no threat to us, nor do we have any right to stay there even one day longer. If the country falls into the hands of a religious dictator after we leave, you can blame George W. Bush for it. Staying there will only guarantee the bankruptcy of our country.

Wally_Hatchet wrote:Let's raise our taxes and keep our borders open...

These are two separate issues. Let's tackle them one at a time:

1. Raising Taxes.

George W. Bush has run our national debt up to $9 trillion dollars:

Image

How do we plan to pay for this debt? More tax cuts will only raise it even higher. The Bush Administration has used smoke and mirrors to hide the national debt problem by promoting more and more tax cuts. Even John McCain voted against these tax cuts, saying that it was foolish to cut taxes during a time of war. Now that McCain is running for President, he has flip-flopped on this issue because he knows he has to promote tax cuts to get elected by Republicans.

2. Keeping the Borders Open

Have you been wondering why Clinton has been getting more of the Hispanic vote than Obama has? It's because they are worried that Obama will be tougher on the border issue than any other Presidential candidate is. In addition - Bush has been extremely soft on border enforcement. His border policies have been nothing but amnesty. To be able to lower our national debt and fix our failing economy, we will have to have a President with a backbone who will stop the flow of illegal immigrants into the USA.

Wally_Hatchet wrote:We'll also be more than happy to let the 12 million+ illegal aliens stay here, while the ones who have spent years trying to immigrate here legally wait even longer...

Your hero George W. Bush has been doing a great job at that. I'm sure mcCain would be happy to follow in his footsteps.

Wally_Hatchet wrote:And while we're at it, we'll gladly give more of our paychecks to support those who are too lazy to bother to go to work everyday.

Let's don't and say we did. Bush has already done enough of that (see the above graph). It doesn't work.

Wally_Hatchet wrote:That is indeed change!

Change is what we need, and change is what Obama represents. Change away from the Bush era of running our national debt up higher than any other President in USA history. Change away from policing the world and invading sovereign countries that pose no threat to us. Change away from the arrogant and pompous lack of international diplomacy. Change away from out-of-control government spending. Change away from families going bankrupt due to a broken healthcare system. Change away from oil companies padding the pockets of government officials and getting away with murder.

Can we do it?

YES WE CAN!

Go Obama!!!

The one thing worse than being called a Smithers is being called a Mabel. Hahah. Times like these I wish I had more comedic wit to flail around, as if I were a drunken Deano flailing himself around, chasing Kevin Cronin down the street, naked and bearing a Super Soaker.

I forget what thread it was on but I was cracking up reading Deano's plots... I forget what it was with, but he was planning on dousing Cronin with something while tanked beyond all recognition. I wish I had the time to dig it up and laugh at it all over again.

Hey my little yellow tree-hugging coward, that's because Clinton let Bin Laden go after he bombed the WTC the 1st time. Bill wanted "the judicial system" to take care of him. How'd that work out? Not too good for 3000 people on 9/11/01. Bush was only in office for a mere 8 months prior. But, I know, EVERYTHING bad is Dubya's fault.

There is such a thing called brains and structure, something your nimrodded president never heard of.

There is also such things called class, honor and integrity, something Billary never had, and never will.

No, fuck you and the Democrat majority congress, who's approval rating is much, much lower than Dubya's ever was. How'd that "change" work out for you guys this past year? As for Obama, he has ZERO experience. He has never led anything, and he has spent half of his measly 2 years in the Senate campaigning for President. As for Billary, she's getting her ass kicked by a man with ZERO experience.

Is that even possible??? The guy's approval was hovering around 20% last week! I have to admit that I am ASTONISHED that ANYONE with two brain cells connected could seriously defend ANYTHING Bush has done! Even if I supported this jackass (which I didn't), I'd never admit to it, at this point! For the record, I've voted both Democrat and Republican, but just can't defend a guy who I think is the worst modern day President, this country has seen!

I've been a card carrying republican, my whole life...

and in this upcoming presidential election, I would sooner vote for Hillary than I would for McCain. He's that much of a 2-faced douchebag that I would rather have a clinton in office than McCain.

Having said that, I'm slowly finding myself agreeing with a good amount of the democrat msg anyway....I'm finding mtself at a political crossroads that I would never have predicted 10 years ago....

In fact, I would likely vote Obama before McCain as well....and I am of the opinion that his stance on opening lines of communication with the likes of Chavez and Ahmadinejad is flat-out stupidity.

I would say the only votes McCain will get in the general election is the racist vote (if Obama is his opponent), the misogynist vote (if Hillary is his opponent), and Arizona! The guy will lose this election in a LANDSLIDE! If there was actually another white guy running against him, he probably wouldn't even get as much as 10% of the votes!

I believe Obama is saying that the George W. Bush policy of arrogantly avoiding communication with world leaders who will not rubber-stamp his maverick cowboy style of leadership is not the right way to conduct yourself as a world superpower. When did anyone ever get any issues resolved without communication and negotiation? It simply doesn't work. If my neighbor is mad at me, avoiding him and arrogantly flipping him the bird will not help matters. Talking with him to resolve issues will.
