Awesome! I've never seen these pictures before.

Do they have Perry standing on a block or something? He looks just as tall if not taller than the others. Maybe it's the camera angle

I tried but I couldn't find any flights that would work with my touring schedule.
I guess I'll be waiting for the DVD...

Ya'll have fun for me!!! I'll expect youtube videos! 8)

You did the interview? Great job; love reading stories about Steve. Gives us distant fans insights to the man.

Here's a little bit of the interview. It was done thru email.

2..(From )...Hey Bill! 3 bands? Whew you sound like a busy man > indeed! Okay down to the questions, Steve doesn't seem to play drums much > anymore, was he any good back then?? Also a non Steve related question, > have you ever heard of a band called "Soul Inc."?? They were around during > the '60's they weren't a band out of CA though, they hailed from > Louisville, KY. Steve is a great drummer, indeed. Not familiar with Soul Inc. > Thanks for taking the time to do the "Q 'n A">>

3..(From ).. .When and how did u guys come 2gether?> How did u guys come up with the name 'The Sullies'?> And what r the names of ur bands? Steve and I met at a high school talent show. The Sullies came about after I saw a store sign for a shoe repair called Sully's. >

4....(From)....Bill, do you play any other instruments besides > keyboard/piano ?? I can play bass and guitar, but I'm really a keyboard player. >

5.....(From )....Hi Bill! Thanks for agreeing to answer our questions! > We are very grateful!!> How and when did you and Steve meet? Describe him as a band mate.> How would you describe his evolution as an artist over the years? Steve and I met in '64-'65, in high school. Since that was my very first band, I had no one to compare band mates with. since Steve or I never had a brother, we WERE brothers. He has definitely flowered as an artist, no doubt! >

6.....(From )...Hi Bill, I'll admit I don't know much about the > Sullies (we didn't get much from your area in Newfounland at that time > lol) but I'm interested to know, how long you were together, who did most > of the writing and would you think about reuniting at any time? Might be > fun, you never know.... We played together about 7 years. We all wrote, but I'd say Steve was the most prolific writer of the group. I'd love to get together for a reunion sometime. We talk about it occasionally. It'll happen someday. >

7....From Debbie..Bill--I too knew Steve before he was famous. I knew him > in Visalia when he went to the music school there--after high > school--Please tell him "Debbie" wants to talk to him again--as a > friend. 1- Did you know any of the musicians we knew in Visalia? 2-Do you > ever want to write /perform again with Steve? 3-He was very shy & > sweet--how was he as a band-mate? 4-Did you know Bob Depew who died in a > car accident?(from Visalia) would love to talk to you about some things & > people from back then--if you ever have time to write me know-----Good luck & let us know the names of your bands & how we can hear > your music !! Is there any "Sullies" music for us and photos from back > then?? We'd love to see them !! Thank you !!!

When Steve was in Visalia, two of us were in Coalinga, and one in Porterville, so we didn't have too many mutual school friends. I'll mention you to Steve, next time I talk with him. Steve is my brother, and I'll play with him anytime, and anywhere. My bands are...The Fabulous Beach Band, the Well, and The Tule Devils. I have no digital copies of any Sullies music, just vinyl. I have a couple of 8X10 publicity photos, but people weren't as photo crazy back then, so I don't have many. >> 8....From Cindy...Hey Bill,> Considering that Steve was an only child, and I'm sure, at times, during > his youth, he fell into that "only-child" syndrome (if you know what I mean), what was it like having his mother manage the band? His mom was very business oriented, which was good for us. We were all like a big family. It was all cool. > P.S. I love the song,"Bucket." Glad you like it! ...

DID HE OR DIDN HE GOT A DARN PERM LOLOL AM JUST KIDDING> DONT TELL HIM THAT PLEASE I JUST WANTED TO MAKE Y OU LAUGH NO Perms! N ASK HIM IF HE WILL MARRY ME SOON I CANT WAIT TO MOVE TO CALI LOLOL Good Luck!

(from ).. Hi Bill, It is an Honor to be able to ask you questions regarding You, > Music and Steve Perry.> 1) When you were in the Sullies, what instrument did you play? Are you > still playing that instrument in the bands your associated with now? Do > you write lyrics or music for these bands? I've always played keyboards.

Yes I wrote and write, still. was to become music> history? If yes, What did you see in him? Everyone in that band could have been big time.opinion has Steve's Character> changed much over the years? If yes, how? He's Mellowed!

11....From ...HEY BILL, SINCE YOU WERE IN THE SULLIES YOU MUST BE A > LOCAL, SMALL TOWN BOY FROM THE SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY, HUH? WHICH TOWN ARE > YOUR FROM? DO YOU STILL LIVE THERE OR JUST VISIT? HOW OFTEN DOES STEVE > COME HOME AND DO YOU GUYS STILL GET TOGETHER THERE? THANKS. I Live in Lemoore, still. Steve comes to town occasionally.
