Deano, I think I have to agree with you this time. My beloved Baby Gators lacked heart and I cant understand it. We have the BEST coach in the nation with Billy Donovan and if anyone can get this corrected before next year he will. Talent is there, especially with the SEC Freshman of the year runner up Nick Calathes but somehow they need to mature a lot more. If they dont then they do not deserve to wear the VERY PRESTIGIOUS Orange and Blue. No logical reason we get blown out by Bama. Im still in shock. When they went up 30-5 I thought it had to be a joke. Next season will be better though because once again Billy has a great recruiting class coming in and there will be no place for heartless Gators on this team. Right now I hope they dont even go NIT. Serve some of these uninspired pricks right. At Florida we take pride in everything we do and I still take pride in Billy Donovan and a lot of confidence that this gets fixed. As Gators WE EXPECT TO WIN EVERYTIME WE TAKE THE FIELD OR COURT, we dont HOPE to win....For now I guess we'll have to be happy with the "Back to Back to Back" National Championships.....only school to ever accomplish that by the way with basketball and football in the same year....

Funny story....I flew Southwest roundtrip. Guy next to me is reading the paper and sees that Southwest has been servicing their planes about as often as Euros shower...annually. Looks at me and says "Just fuckin' great. Had I known this I'd have brought a God damned parachute as carry on instead of my laptop." 3 or 4 of us just busted out laughing. Guy seemed drunk, too. Liked him immediately.

I would rather fly, than drive for safety purposes.

Guy drunk on a plane is an automatic hit. I was so fucked up on SWA, they served me waaaay too many Coors Lights, when the plane landed and the pilot hit the reverse thrust, all the beer cans rolled up the aisle toward the cockpit. People freaked out.

On the way to the May Melee my other two friends and I must've plowed through an 18 pack on our and twenty minute flight. My friend Wayne actually bought the back of the plane a "round." Our tippie toeing "waiter" loved us. Kept prancing around saying (sounding just like Liberace) "Another round, boys?" We had a blast. He was a cool fag.

PS I have seen the way you plow through beers. We lit up that sports book in Vegas pretty good. Ordering beers, taking them off the tray and then telling the waitress to beat it.    We were a bit out of control I'd say. She was tipped well and seemed to like us though. Maybe because out of the whole room we accounted for 90% of her business. "Kirby" thought you were a fucking hoot, dude. "When we partying with that Deano dude again?" I told him about Cali. He says he's in. 8)

Our cocktail waitress was high on something. You remember when she turned and went to the window to get free drink tickets, and I slammed a beer real quick and she had no idea.

And remember the fucking trash bitch? She went over to check another waste basket and I hid her bag. We were blasted. Good time.

Our cocktail waitress was pretty much brain dead, but MAN was she hot!!! When you hid the trash lady's garbage and she came over with that perplexed look on her face I eventually outed you by busting out laughing. She even thought it was funny. I think we made quite an impression in there between our consumption numbers, refusing to pay for shit, betting wrong tracks  , and fucking with the staff. Too bad JT didn't waddle in there.

Dude Billy is a good coach, but he is no Howland, Olsen, or even Tony Bennett. In fact, Tony Bennett pretty much is the next "Hot" coach out there. I don't expect him to stay at WSU, unless he really wants to make it is home. Donovan has underachieved in a not so good conference.

Cmon Deano, Billy the kid is the man. When his time is finished he will be listed with the names you referenced to. Even he is disgusted by this team....

Yeah, sure he is. SEC is a terrible conference. The highest paid coach at 3.5 Million, sure as Hell didn't transfer over to the floor and scoreboard. I like My Bennett at 300K vs Donavan at 3.5 million.

What have you done for me lately?

I know they are, and I am not taking that away from him. But tell me, how does a coach NOT make the Dance with all the money and cheating abilities(recruiting), University of Florida can provide you?

WSU, Oregon, Arizona all would have won the SEC this year.

And Florida "would have" thrashed the entire tournament field had their seniors returned, much like they did last year. They lost Al Horford, Joakim Noah, Taurean Green, and Corey Brewer to the NBA...all of whom were juniors. Thank them for leaving early or we would have had an absolutely terrible tournament like last year. Watching them shred every opponent was only fun for Gator fans I'd imagine. Lastly, the 2008 team you are so hard on has 7 freshman, 5 sophomores, 2 juniors and ZERO seniors. Remember, the aforementioned championship players were 3 year starters, rendering everyone else with zero experience and pine splinters in their asses. Experience counts and this proved it. This team has a very, very bright future. Besides, 21-11 isn't that bad.

You were making satisfactory headway with the continuation of your perpetual SEC koolaid spurting until you tried to use a womens' sport to bolster it.

Facts don't exist in a vaccuum which is what womens' sports is.

People just don't care.

Thats true. Kinda sad because those ladies work as hard as the guys do. I know I support the Lady Gators in basketball and softball every chance I get in Gainesville. I even went to a gymnastics meet once just to support the Gators.... What can I say-I love the University of Florida....maybe too much....
