Actually Steve did email Deano when his son passed away. The Augeri family is intimately familiar with death and how traumatic it can be. Him and his wife wanted to pass along their thoughts of sympathy to Dean and Lula at that time. At the time, those feelings apparently mattered much more to the Augeris than what Dean and Lula said about them on any internet forums. I have always admired the Augeris ability to rise above meanness and hatred to that which is most important in life. We could all learn a lesson from them.

let the record reflect- i did not, nor will i ever, have disparaging words regarding steve augeri or his family.

But what is amazing is that the Augeris don't keep a record, it isn't important to them. That is the whole point.

I will edit my original post Lula. I am not going to let what was intended as a defense of Deano's statement against those who call him a liar turn into an argument about who said what way back when. My recollections of that time are painful and I would rather not dredge all that up again anyway. One of my problems too is that I take what Deano says on your behalf as being how you feel as well (see the Journey Concert in CA thread), I probably should not do that. I apologize.
