Ahem! :D The appropriate, politically correct word to describe one who is enamoured of the Star Trek phenomenon is actually "TrekkER". To call someone a "Trekkie" is like calling a Journey fan a bubble-gum rock addict.

It's "Trekkie" if they only like TOS (or started with TOS, I forget) and Trekker if they mostly like things after.

So Trekkie for Journey would be like, I liked the band pre-Perry
And Trekker would be like I started listening when Perry or Augeri joined

I RECENTLY WATCHED TREKKIES, OK? :lol:
