The only way Obama gets my vote is if he correctly names the extra 7 states. I am happy that he has stopped talking about invading Pakistan. How in the world did he ever get elected to the Senate > Nice going Illinois !

He was talking about launching pre-emptive strikes on terrorists camps.
Something we've been doing for some time, ignorant hick.

Exactly. Just because China and Russia do it, we have to join the crowd? Maybe we could set the standard instead.

Keep it up, bedsheet wearer.
Even Karl Rove has said that in attempting to paint Obama as a terrorist, you are resigning your party to an early demise.

I can't stand Obama and even I agree that equating him with Osama is a retarded thing to do. He doesn't deserve that.

I hope you are correct on that. I think all 3 of the remaining major candidates are less than satisfactory, but Obama scares me the most. He is left of Clinton. And I am still wondering how this candidate of "change" will bring about these sweeping changes he speaks of. If this latest statement and his "diplomacy with terrorists" views are any indication of his method for bringing about change, I have great fear for the survival of this country.

As far as the fact that this country used to "do the right thing". I also remember when Nationalism, Patriotism, and the American way of life used to mean something also. Those ideals now have apparently been replaced by Globalism, Appeasement, disregard for the majority view , and impositions on citizens freedoms. And let me be completely clear about one thing, both left and right, Rep and Dem, are to blame for these declines.

Wrong.
When it comes to his handling of the subprime crisis or healthcare, he is decidely to the right.

The NY Times's leading liberal (and Princeton economist) Paul Krugman hates the son of a bitch because of this.

Bullshit.
The other networks (MSNBC, CNN) only rightfully soured on her when it became electorally impossible for her to win.
She can only win this now through some surreptious method of luring superdelegates to her side. She can't lock this up.

Perhaps, but I still think she's getting a raw deal. The woman is hardly getting her ass kicked- it's a very close race, and correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't she ahead in popular vote and didn't she win all the big states? Perhaps the math isn't there (although the Supers don't actually CAST their votes until the convention) but she derserves the right to make her case that she is the more electable candidate. And NOW the media is all over how "horrible" the idea of putting her on the ticket as VP would be. Harold Ford (Oh, that vessel of integrity that IS the Ford clan!) spent 20 minutes on MEET THE PRESS this weekend on how bad of an idea that would be and how weak it would make Obama appear if he put her on the ticket...WEAK??? The woman has over 1,300 pledged deligates!!! She deserves consideration!
It just seems quite "oily" the way the party that has held the CLinton family in such high esteem for so long is now content to throw them under the bus and talk about how "dirty" they are, even going so far as to cast them as racists...I think that shows an extreme lack of honor.

Fact Finder wrote:So now this idiot make this claim at a campaign stop today...Iran is tiny!

Likely Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama told supporters Iran is just a “tiny” country at a campaign stop in Oregon Sunday evening.

"Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, these countries are tiny compared to the Soviet Union. They don't pose a serious threat to us the way the Soviet Union posed a threat to us,” Obama said.

Obama’s rivals, including his fellow Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton, have criticized Obama for his willing to meet with Iran, a state sponsor of terrorism.

Presumptive GOP presidential nominee John McCain issued a strong retort to Obama's assessment at a stop in Chicago on Monday. "The biggest national security challenge the United States currently faces is keeping nuclear material out of the hands of terrorists," McCain said. "Should Iran acquire nuclear weapons, that danger would become very dire, indeed. They might not be a superpower, but the threat the Government of Iran poses is anything but "'tiny.'"

Combative exchanges between Obama and McCain over negotiations with Iran dominated the media’s coverage of the 2008 election last week. From the podium of the National Rifle Association’s national conference McCain said, “I have some news for Senator Obama: Talking, not even with soaring rhetoric, in unconditional meetings with the man who calls Israel a 'stinking corpse' and arms terrorists who kill Americans will not convince Iran to give up its nuclear program.

“It is reckless to suggest that unconditional meetings will advance our interests," McCain said.

Obama seemed to brush off these concerns about Iran’s threats while campaigning in Oregon. “Iran, they spend 1/100th of what we spend on the military. If Iran ever tried to pose a serious threat to us, they wouldn't stand a chance,” Obama said.

This man is dangerous. How big were Japan or Germany? Hint..Iran is about 3 or 5 times the size of Germany, bigger than France or Spain and of course Irans arch enemy is teeny tiny Isreal. Barry seems not to have a clue, kinda like TNC. I'm detecting a pattern here.

Great points. Shit, a nuclear weapon in something the size of a fucking brief case could wipe out millions of people. But I suppose brief cases are "tiny" too, according to Obama. What a fucking tool.

Pitching his message to Oregon's environmentally-conscious voters, Obama called on the United States to "lead by example" on global warming, and develop new technologies at home which could be exported to developing countries.

"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK," Obama said.

"That's not leadership. That's not going to happen," he added.

I usually stay out of these discussions, however this is just a blatant example of left wing thinking. I don't mind being reminded about the environment, saving energy and the like. But as far what other countries think about what we do, Fuck Them. I hate those huge SUVs, but other people like them and I have no business telling others what to do with their hard earned cash. This is America, but for how much longer I don't know.

2 things about this idiot, he went out of his way in dumping Rev Wright, (it was the hardest thing he ever did his pastor is as close to him as his white grandmother).I am sick of the "WHITE" grandmother routine, happened too many times. However he dodges the question of his role in the muslim faith. Secondly he will not denounce his citizenship (dual/his father) to Kenya.

The big change he talks about I think is the 2nd day in office we become a muslim country. Sounds hokey, but could very easily happen.

I don't get it. Why should he denounce his citizenship to Kenya and what difference does it make if he's a Muslim? It would only matter to me if he were a radical Muslim, which he's not.

Conspiracy talk yet again. One man doesn't have the power to do that and he would effectively be forced out of office even at the remote chance of that happening. Ridiculous.

Iran is enriching uranium....Obama, a candidate for president, is a tool.....Iran is somehow the equivalency of the imperial army of Japan........

Ok. Now pinch your brow together really hard, and bring those disparate strands of thought to some sort of logical conslusion please.
What a bunch of frumpy lactating bitches.
You wouldn't know it from this thread, but Barack Obama isn't elected, and wields no power over our foreign policy decisions vis-a-vis Iran.

Republican John McCain accused Democrat Barack Obama of inexperience and reckless judgment for saying Iran does not pose the same serious threat to the United States as the Soviet Union did in its day. McCain made the attack Monday in Chicago, Obama's home turf.

"Such a statement betrays the depth of Senator Obama's inexperience and reckless judgment. These are very serious deficiencies for an American president to possess," McCain said

The Democratic party could nominate a rutebaga for President and beat McCain in a rout. It's over.

I wouldn't be so confident about Obama's chances at the Presidency, at this point. I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that the lefties are going to win more seats in both the House and the Senate.

Obama is right ya know its just that we dont want to hear the truth.. Most of America is fat and spoiled and wasteful. We drive gas hogs during a fucking oil crisis and whine like babies when someone speaks the truth.

Its not socialism its called making small sacrifices. Too much to ask isnt it ? Just shows how fucking spoiled we are. Oil will run out you know ? Ever think of what that would be like ?

If we continue to waste prices will continue to rise. Ready for a food shortage ? Now that China and India are catching up in the world markets they want what we have. Suv's and 72 degress. There is not enough energy to go around and sacrifices will have to be made. Just as long as its not us making them right ?

Very short sighted and typical. I will be sure to weep for the fuckers that cry about giving up their SUV to comprimise with the rest of the world. And we have people fucking starving right here at home... Hey, as long as you can sleep at night.

You call me left ? I call you EVIL and selfish.
