Great objective comment, Carlitto H@kk. I'm just impressed because I can sense that you are "talking to" Journey from the heart..i.e. like you're part of their family. While initially, I was also a little worried about Arnel, having read stories about Journey's past lead vocalists---I was relieved after watching Journey's CBS interview.

Of course some people may not have felt this (maybe it's just me)---But in that interview, I can sense the seemingly genuine, and growing "positive connection" between Neal, Deen, Jonathan, and Ross AND Arnel. I was really surprised that one of them PUBLICLY acknowledged that "Arnel made me a better guy". I don't know about you--but I believe it really takes a lot of MANLY GUTS for a well-known guy especially in this industry to say that! And to me, that is the ultimate compliment that any person can say about anybody! And Arnel have been with them for only 6 months! Arnel's overall life story has a positive impact on people--and I think it complements Journey and its music. I believe Arnel's sincerity and humility which seem to be deeply-rooted in his being will serve as the bond that will hold the Journey family together for a long time. He seems to be very unassuming---and I think he has no inclination to act like the "top dog"--however successful he becomes. And I hope and pray that Neal, Deen, Jonathan, and Ross will take care of their "little brother". Arnel is relatively young, and I believe that this "journey" will last if the whole group would take care of Arnel---and his vocal chords--as if their productive life depends on them (that may be a little bit of exaggeration, but I'm just thinking out loud). Of course, they need to take care of each other.
They need Arnel, and Arnel needs them. At this point in their careers, ALL OF THEM NEED EACH OTHER. While it's unlikely that people will stop reminiscing the great past Journey experience---it may be prudent to focus on the present and the future. As Liquid_Drummer said, "enjoy it while it lasts."
