Funny thing I noticed....

There was ONE person I noticed that was NOT smiling, laughing, or cheering on Josh .... Reggie Jackson.

Interesting.

He's not smiling today because the Yankee fans embarrased themselves before, during and after the All-Star game. Way to go New York...Losers...

This dope gets his nose out of the bag, has one good half of a season and your ready to annoint him the best outfielder in baseball?!?!?! You don't know a fucking base hit from a bong hit.

A former #1 draft pick, now in his prime years, kicked ass last year in limited at bats in Cincy.
Name a better outfielder.

Ichiro. Better glove, better arm, better range, better average and proven. Grady Sizemore. A truly awesome all-around player.

Ichiro...past his prime...range?, he was booted out of CF this year...Hamilton=better average right now... .735 OPS compared to Hamilton's .918.
Grady's very good (still has a problem vs. lefties), but his numbers still are dwarfed by Josh's.
Give me Hamilton everytime....bong, crackpipe, needles and all.

Still think Hamilton is better than Ichiro?

Ichiro has 3 hits and steals 20th: Seattle RF Ichiro Suzuki had a nice afternoon at the plate on Sunday against the Indians. Suzuki went 3 for 4 with a double and two runs scored. He added a walk and stole his 20th base of the season. He's hitting .363 on the year.

Even if you disregard his numbers from Japan, Ichiro is headed to the HOF. 8 Gold Gloves, 2 batting titles , about to have 200 hits for the 9th year in a row, most hits in a single season, League MVP in his first year. Even if he retires next year, this guy belongs in Cooperstown.

Agreed. And to think that Ichiro played 7 full seasons in Japan! Add 1,400 more hits and he has a little over 3,300 with no end in sight. I still say that he might get 3,000 hits over here. He'll hit his 2,000th by season's end. This guy is a once in a lifetime player. And what a humble, classy man he is.
