Meeting Scarygirl, Jim, his wife and 4 other friends, 7 Wishes, DerriD and his awesome family and a whole host of other people was just amazing. Jim's 2 buddies made the mistake of trying to hang with the 2 of us all night. Didn't work.   That guy Wayne in the parking lot that had the moonshine was one cool dude!!!

I missed out on the moonshine...Probably a very good thing! Yeah, I'm still paying for that night 2 days later.  I really had a blast though, and I just hope I didn't make an ass out of myself... I do that sometimes when I'm really hammered! We'll have to do it again sometime.

Not that I needed it, but the moonshine tasted just fine at that point. Managed to make it to Taco Bell for some 4th Meal action and pretty much passed out right after I got home.

How you guys managed to make it 'til 3 a.m. is beyond me! :D

Talked to Jim and got his ok to post his wife's comment. We're all sitting around at TGI Friday's eating, drinking and chatting when someone says "Hey, why doesn't Steve Perry sing for Journey anymore?" Without hesitation Jim's wife says "Because he's a baby back bitch, that's why!"   I don't know why, but that comment, and more specifically the way she said it, had me rolling. We laughed about that comment for quite awhile. I think it should be mentioned that she was laughing when she said it....but she did mean it!!!

This was posted over at the official board:

"I awoke this morning to our local AC radio station (where I won my tix) talking about the Charlotte show. The DJ said that they've been basically inundated with reviews of the show with people raving and praising Journey's performance. They talked a little about Arnel, and the second disc in Revelation being the re-records. Then, they played Separate Ways from disc 2!! I know a lot here aren't big fans of the retreads, but it was great to hear them laying that info out there (for the casual fan, if nothing else) and to give Arnel his due. Great way to start my day this am."
