WHEN BRETT REPLACED THE MAJIC MAN back in 1992... i was like damn....but 17 years later we face it again with Rodgers... so we dont know anything until the first REAL game is under our belt. if they can beat the Vikings at week one, all we be fine. if they get killed by the Vikings at home on Monday night it will be a very LONG SEASON.

For the first time in 5 years. I'm actually optimistic about the Raiders this year. The consistently weak offensive line really played pretty well last year under new O-line coach Tom Cable and the Bronco style blocking scheme he brought in. It all hinges on how Jamarcus Russell plays. If he's solid with few mistakes they will do very well. The Raiders have a solid running game with Fargas (who's coming off his best year) McFadden, plus the POUNDING Michael Bush from Louisville. The defense should be able to make plays with a solid secondary as well. Anyway all of this was enough to keep me from cancelling "Sunday Ticket" and "SuperFan"

Raiders will not be good this year. Take it to the bank.

Define "good". I'm looking them being 8-8 or 7-9 which is a big improvement over the past few years. Playoffs? I'd bet the house on no!

The Jets have a SICK o-line these days and I'd love to see Favre take down another Super Bowl.. I've always been a big Favre fan, now I'm going to be actively following the Jets for the first time, well, ever.
