I think the point is... why bring it up at all? What he is or isn't doing now has nothing to do with Journey, their frontman, or those who support or slam the band. It's the fans/anti-fans that continue the arguing, and a shot at Steve and his "10 year vacuum of silence" is irrelevant.

I don't really get your point, dude! You're bitching about someone on another board being critical of this incarnation of Journey. At the end of the day, some people are simply tired of the ENDLESS incarnations of the band with the same name, and a new lead singer, every 20 minutes If that's how someone truly feels, that's their right. The other thing I think is worth mentioning is that some people make statements for no other reason, but effect! Some people just like stirring the pot. That said, if you love the current version of the guys calling themselves Journey, that's your right. If someone else doesn't care for these guys, that's their right. As someone previously mentioned in this thread...if you want endless ass kissing and sucking up to all things Journey, www.journeymusic.com is the place you want to visit. The shit gets so thick over there, you need a shovel to dig your way out! In the meantime, other boards actually allow people to have their own opinions, even if others don't agree with those opinions!

I respect people's varying opinions - there's room for everything .. however, to have a spot on the web that exists solely to bash Journey and its members, doesn't really do anyone any good, and won't bring back SP, SA or JSS ...

I'm not trying to be negative toward anyone - just trying to vent a little about the hatred and negativity spewed forth on the other site ...

And yes, I read and am a member at the journeymusic.com forums, but I also agree that they can get a bit sugary over there, as well ...
