Obama could have picked a dead person as VP and he still won't win.

when people enter the voting booth their guts will not allow them to vote for Obuma!

The polls show it, everyboy knows it and while all of this is going on, Bill, Hilary and Monica are having a three way! Life is good for the Clintons! :D

Gosh, I just woke up! I guess I'm a little behind...didn't even realize there's a brand new presidential candidate!

I agree with Barb on Biden. He is arrogant. The rest of the supposed finalists for the job were at least down-to-earth guys. Can't say the same for Biden.

Hilarious. Friday Rush said something like this, "I know we try to stay away from religion on this show. But I'm gonna say a little prayer here. Please, oh please, let Obama pick Biden"

You're kidding, right? No VP has even remotely affected the election results since 1964. Biden was the blandest, most obvious choice out there, since Hillary would have destroyed his campaign. People vote for the PRESIDENT, not the VP. It's still McCain vs. Obama. Neither candidate's selection will have ANY impact whatsoever, unless McCain chooses Al Sharpton or George Bamberger.

With due respect...that's too strong a statement, WIX!
I believe some people, like me, realize that the Vice-presidency is only a breath's away from the Presidency...and as such, a VP choice has some real significance (albeit subtle for most people.) :)

It's not bias to give my honest opinion of a gas bag like Joe Biden. I think he should have picked Hillary Clinton. He could have won with her. Biden... not so much.
Biden is famous for blathering on and on and on .... and not just by "right wingers".

And some of his blathering on an on is lifted directly from others to whom he has not given credit.

If there were a God, McCain would pick Clinton as his running mate. The Dem.'s have given her so much shit that I can't imagine her working with them. They all turned their backs on her.

I think that both candidates would feel the Clintons are too over bearing to have on the ticket and would run the whole show. In Obama's case, I remember hearing a while back that Michelle Obama wanted nothing to do with Hillary being the VP on her husband's ticket.

I think the Biden pick has sealed Obama's fate. Hillary will be running again in 2012.

I doubt she would run if he is elected, but yes, if he loses she will almost certainly get the nomination. I love the fact that Obama didn't even vet her for VP. One of her handlers said they literally sat around waiting for the phone to ring, and it never did. Says alot.

Pretty humiliating for Clinton. I'm not a fan of hers, but she was a stronger candidate than Obama in my opinion. Obama is all flash and glitz and zero substance.

Still think that they would be what both parties need to happen.

There are plenty that do the exact opposite, but you're as likely to look at the whole picture as a blind man at a midnight showing of "The Nightwatch".

This is much funnier, though, because not only has Biden commented on more than one occasion about Obama not being ready to be President but has also previously commented that McCain would be a decent President. I heard those comments last night when they were talking about Biden's selection.

I did as well. Pretty funny stuff. I think Biden said something like "if I lose to John McCain, maybe the better man won". Good stuff.

And anyone that thinks the Obama camp doesn't have commercials cued up ready to go using Romney's words against McCain, is seriously delusional.

Obama is not qualified to be prez....
IF he wins it will ONLY be due to his skin color...

If McCain wins...it'll be the same status quo we've had for the last 8 years....

Besides, we've already learned that the votes don't count anyway.....

Take all the cheap shots you want. I fully expect Obama to do the same to McCain and Romney if that is the choice. I'm just surprised how fast that came out. I'm a conservative. I want a conservative in the White House. The closest I'll get to that is Romney as VP. I don't think much of the candidate the Republicans picked.

I'll say this much concerning Biden. Not that he had anything to do with it, but I went to High School In Delaware and still own property there. It's a wealthy state and not a bad place to raise a family. It's very business friendly. I believe knowledge of Delaware Law is a requirment for all corporate lawyers. It's a small state but has a pretty strong presence in the Corporate world of Business. If the country could run half as efficiently as Delaware, we all would be better for it.

Obama grew up in poverty, and his mother had to hold down multiple jobs (and still needed food stamps) to feed her son, who put himself through law school based entirely (unlike Clarence Thomas) on his brilliance and academic performance. He turned down a $250,000 a year job on Wall Street to go into public service.

Biden has a net worth of $150,000.

McCain and his wife are worth billions. Romney came from a family with money and has been living an exotic lifestyle his entire life. He and McCain have rubbed elbows with the rich and powerful for decades.

Yet some assholes insist on labeling Obama an "elitist". I love it. You're so ignorant it hurts.

I'd like to have one in there that actually knows what the price of gas is, and how much of a percentage of our incomes is being spent on gas, food, electricity and such. Somebody in touch.

McCain and Romney, with their billions of dollars and million-dollar contributions from Big Oil, know far more about the suffering of the average middle-class American and high gas prices than self-indulgent elitist dirtbags like Obama and Biden.
