This time, how about your permanent username, that which you have most likely contemplated upon lol with effecting a striking impact--and a lasting imprint--in mind?
To start with...
About five options I've initially successively thought of were either taken or uncomfortably close to at least one of those taken. Considered, and got through with, yet another,"Etcetera," which, regardless, is as relevant as the previous ones I would have adopted, albeit in a different aspect--and that's for the miscellany that I am lol.
The floor is yours.

It is tradition for the best man and bridesmaid to have a fling.
You happy with that?

The rest of it is just as interesting...my, and everybody's, neighbor.
conversationpc wrote:My screen name comes from the song "Conversation Piece" by one of my favorite bands, Savatage, from their "Edge of Thorns" album... I also thought it made sense since we're here to have conversations. At the time I made the name up, about eight years ago, I don't think I had the option to use the entire title, hence the abbreviated "pc" at the end, which some have mistakenly taken for "P.C." as in a computer or "politically correct", which I am obviously not.
ProgRocker53 wrote:I was NealSchonFan53 for like a year and had been going through a new username every week for a month or so trying to find one I liked.
I was on a huge progressive rock kick when I put this name down (still am, as always, of course) and figured it'd be a good way to automatically show people where my musical tastes are inclined. Also, 53 is my number for everything, having been my lifetime football jersey.
I had went to go change my username to one of my many nicknames one day, having gotten tired of ProgRocker53 after just a week. Unfortunately that was in the midst of the identity scandals and the usernames were frozen at that point, and it was stuck.
Soon thereafter I was posting, interacting, and engaging tenfold more than before.... and I actually became a bit well-known around here. I couldn't change it then, lest I leave behind my many new nicknames (Proggie, Proggletits, etc.) and my new MR identity.
