Yeah, the Mister Mister look didn't fit Schon at all.

would you guys please stop hijacking threads by launching into clothing debates? :D

I get a boot in the ass out of Neal rocking the "Voorhees Shirt" from the early Friday The 13ths to a function

Not at all. That's what makes Neal great and a common man. He isn't in to this elite black tie bullshit. He dresses the same way whether he's touring, hanging out, or at an event. Neal is the real deal, not complex, very meat and potatoes.

Yeah but I don't think he should be commended for that in this case - I like to be comfortable too - who doesn't - but when the occassion calls for it, I dress appropriately. A star on the Walk of Fame - we're talking ONCE in a lifetime deal, and its not as if just anyone can have one... show a millimeter of class and put on a friggin' jacket and a halfway decent shirt. He looked like he pulled it out of a pile, sniffed it and went "Meh, I can get one more day out of it, but honey get me a tide stick, I got mustard on here." You do that when you're running out to fill up your car and grab a latte on a Sunday morning, not when you're being given a god damned hollywood star.

Even a tshirt would have been better, can't stand those plaid or lumberjack looking shirts.

Maybe it was a big-time ironic statement about grunge killing off arena rock?

Your right, not just anyone gets a star, Erik Estrada's body of work speaks for itself.

Point taken. What I actually meant was that while pretty much any star can get a star (since they pay for it), not everyone gets to be a star in the first place... so yeah, once in a lifetime chance to have your name on the cement nest to Erik Estrada's.

Nobody said he had to wear a suit, but raiding Joe Dirt's wardrobe wasn't exactly a great idea. He looked ridiculous in that garb. That was a hell of an accolade they were receiving and he should have dressed to convey an appreciation for the acknowledgement of the band's accomplishemnts. Instead, he dressed like he just finished the morning shift at Clyde's Car Wash.

Does Steve say "I just heard I got out of the band"? I have a hard time hearing exactly what he says. It sounded interesting though.

I think he said "I just heard he's got another band."

Ah ok. Thanks, Rick. So he must have been talking about Soul Sirkus.
Anything to deflect the topic of Journey.

Uhh...it was a direct "shot" at Journey. He was saying, "I just heard you were in another band"...meaning "Journey".

It didn't seem that way to me when I first saw that dvd.
I always figured he was talking about SS. :?

He's never taken 'shots' at Neal publically, why would he do it on camera with Neal right next to him?

He was referring to SS. I was there so I know. That was a very magical day and there were no 'shots' being taken by anyone. Steve and Neal were genuinely happy to see each other. I was a mushy mess that day and actually had tears in my eyes when they were hugging each other and Neal kissed Steve on the cheek. The only downer from that day was that Gregg wasn't there.

Because Neal "called him out" right prior to the comment, saying something to the effect that he was trying to "convince Steve to come out on tour and sing with Journey that summer". That is when SP shot back with the "I didn't even know you had a band" comment.

Pretty clear to me.

[
quote="Jeremey"]He knows he's talking about Soul Sirkus, Perry knows everything. He even knew who the lead singer was the week Jeff was fired and he was spotted in Myrtle Beach discussing it.
[/quote] I agree, I have along believed that Perry knows exactly what's going on with Journey; I still say like I have before; " I believe they are still good friends(ALL of them) and that Neal, Jon and the others are very protective of Perry, and this we hate each other act is just that an act to ensure Perry's privacy. Neal may be a lot of things, but one thing he is to me (IMO) is a very good friend to Perry and part of being that good friend is being the fall guy in this messy game of cat and mouse that is being played in order to keep the wall of privacy up to protect his friend; I feel that Neal would do anything for his friend and vice versa, his friend would do anything for him; including ( JMO) helping him restart Journey (TBF) even though they all knew that Steve could/ would not be able to tour again with them; Thus making him the sixth member off the record;and privy to whatever is going on (IMO)
