Winning shouldn't be the end-all, be-all for Heisman. If OU wins, and Harrell comes back and has statistically better game - Harrell should get it. a WIN is overrated....

I sure hope not.....that's all we need. 10 threads about UF, started by the resident reptile....
lol...they're coming, dude. Florida is gonna smash Alabama and play Oklahoma for the National Championship. I don't see Florida beating Oklahoma, though.

You're too hung up on statistics, dude. Harrell passed 58 fucking times against Eastern Washington, 48 against SMU and 46 against Nevada...none of which are worth 2 dead dicks. He's thrown 45 or more passes 7 times and will do so again tonight. He should have over 4,000 yards!!!

Two words

Timmy Chang

The guy threw for 15,000 yards with Hawaii, now he's in Canada. Sometimes statistics don't mean shit.

I kept thinking that TT would get something going. I expected OU offense to strike early and often, but their D has been suspect all year. They haven't played D like that in several years. Boomer Sooner!

Rick - you are not the only one. I am an OU graduate and went to 4 Orange Bowls in the mid 80's. Was there to beat Arkansas and Penn State and sat through losses to Washington and Miami. An OU Florida game would be a great matchup. Both stumbled early, but I think they are a toss up #1 or 2 at this point. Florida will whack Alabama.

Hey man, those 80's games under Switzer was classic college football!!! They defined that era of college football...OU has a great coach...remember Stoops is a former Gator(under Steve Spurrier) and coached our defense to the first National Championship in 1996. In Gainesville he is still considered a Gator. When Spurrier and Zook both left/was fired Stoops name came up first both times....

Both times it was crazy in Norman as well. They were interrupting regular programming on local TV to give updates on Stoops whereabouts. Was he in Norman, was he in Gainesville? More than a little crazy.

Bob's a good fit where he is right now and Urban Meyer was a great catch for you.

I agree tj! It took a little time to adjust but Im totally happy with Urban Meyer. I truly believe that his class of coaches-along with Bob Stoops, Mike Leach, Mark Richt, and Pete Carroll(just to name a few) are the next class of legends like Bowden,Paterno, Vince Dooley, Bear Bryant....
I know Gainesville wouldnt take Spurrier back over Urban now.
