Our beloved Gator will be there so watch for him....there are rumors that he's planning something special for the ladies at the game....it involves blue and orange paint and nothing else!

Might I suggest that you and Mr Gator pick who is going to use the avatar and signature pictures and ensure that it is only 1 of you to avoid confusion.

Sure thing Andrew.

It will be me until (if) he returns to posting here, at which time I will turn the av and sig back over to him. He wanted his Angel to sport it until then.

Not really the college type guy. I like 'Bama and the 10 points.

'Bama will show why they are #1 in the world.

It is just too easy for Florida to score.

I don't know if ANY defense can stop them.

Florida is the recipient of what I like to call, 'The defeated before they take the field theory'....Michael Jordan had this as well. All the hype before the game gets in the heads of the opponent, and they lose. In fact, because of all the preceeding hype, they lose before they take the filed(court).

If Missouri somehow wins it unfortuantley will be USC vs Florida/Alabama for the National Championship. There is an unwritten rule that you can't be in the National Champion game if you are not a conference champion, so unfortunately Texas (although beat Oklahoma) is out.

I believe it's a written rule now, brought on when Oklahoma lost to Kansas State in the Conference championship game and still advanced to the National Championship game (Where they got their rightful deserts from USC)

Ahem...

LSU beat OU for the National Championship that year... ;)

Carry on...

Yes, you did. What was that, 2004? It was kind of a low scoring game, but OU never had the upper hand in that game. LSU was great that year. It had been a long time for them.

They didn't have to play in one, they won from being number one in the polls, the old fashion way (and they got pretty rings too).
Their BCS ring came the next year.
