I have loved Elton since 1970. We got to 1st see him in the 70's. This was in the days of festival seating. I went to the lower seats in order to watch his hands. Then the place started to stink. I said "Who is burning rope?" My brother in law armed me in the ribs and said"its marijuana" you idiot". I also love Billy Joel ,but I think Elton's percussion is excellent. They are coming to Cincinnati, but so is Louisville,Dayton, Indy, Columbus. The low ticket is 55.00 and top 180.00.

Well worth it. Even though modern day EJ sucks, his classics are as good as anyone's. 180 for a top ticket. I would go. These are two of the best piano/singer/songwriters ever.

been a diehard Billy Joel fan my whole life...my first concert was the Storm Front tour. I was nine.

Wish he'd put out some new music though.

The thing I love about Billy is the quality of his non-hits. Some of them have become slightly more well-known because he's played them live sporadically, but you could make an album of 'other songs' that would kick just about anyone else's "hits" album. "Miami 2017," "Summer Highland Falls," "Travelin' Prayer," "Famous Last Words," "Big Man On Mullberry Street," "All For Leyna"...christ.


He's been playing the same hits for 15 years....I almost wish he'd do a mid-sized theater tour playing album cuts and such for the diehards. I don't know if he's just doing it for the money now (why would he need any more?), but I think he'd have a pretty good time taking his band out and playing whatever he wanted wihtout having to play "Piano Man" again.

She forced me to listen to his other songs, besides Piano Man, Uptown Girl, and We Didn't Start the Fire.
