i would LOVE to play along with this and add some guitar!! very nice changes.. you dark , gloomy son of a gun..

Go for it Lar! Let's see what ya got! That goes for anyone here (Liquid Drummer, I'd love to hear some vocals on it!). Any songs I put in this thread are definitely up for vocals, guitars, what ever. It'd be cool to hear someone do something cool to them for the forum to hear.

I love this song Jim, not shitty at all. I like it better than the one that started the thread, in fact. I love the subtle strings, shades of Don Henley arranging to my ears.

Oh, and awesome piano tone too. Feels very organic.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. Unless someone adds something cool to it to make it a better song though, it's gonna be toast. I have so many songs like this (as I'm sure most songwriters do), and if I work on something for a while without it keeping me interested or inspired...I just toss it aside and move on. Maybe someone can do something with it that will get me motivated on it again? Who knows, but it'd be cool.

I'm no writer or anything such, but that melody makes me think of a guy who's moving on from a divorce. The papers are signed and I'm on my way, moving on to a better day. Some shit like that.

Not yet :?: :( ( hint, hint)

Here you go Blueskies, as promised! I'm sure it's pretty obvious to most here what I was listening to when I recorded this song. It starts out okay, then just gets bland and boring...it never really goes anywhere. This one's in the old shit pile!
