If it's like the site the site that it is replacing, it will subscribe to the belief that the history of Journey AKA Arnel and the J-Boyz started December 2007.

Who are they trying to fool?..not anyone here for sure! I guess anyone under 30 might not know..LOL

Shallow is the word I was looking for. Ok, better graphics... sure.
But content wise it is very base and awkward. No love for the past, no love for old guys.

Pretty pathetic actually. Would it be horrible to say I'm almost laughing at whoever gave the approval for this? Craptacular.

The site absolutely sucks, and I agree as well that it appears they're trying to make-believe that this current line-up is the whole of Journey... Neal, Jon, surely had input? Irv? Bueller? Totally shit the bed on this. I grade it a L for Lame.

You can do your own blog. The question is will they censure the blogs that pay tribute to other eras of the group.

For one reason or another (mis-typed URL, faulty referral from another site, out-of-date search engine listing or we simply deleted a file) the page you were after is not here - this site has recently undergone a major re-working, so that might explain why you got this page instead.

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Agreed. The overall look is SLIGHTLY better than the last version, which was god awful. But total "F" for content, accuracy and decency. So Journey was born in 2007, huh? Fine, quit singing all those old songs. If you are choosing to ignore all past members, then you can go ahead and ignore all the music too.

And why is the lead singer the last one on the bottom of the lineup page?

The Band bio is a JOKE.

And the store no longer has the tank top that I wanted but was refusing to give those scheisters THIRTY bucks for. If I promise to stop posting the Crying Frig, could band management dig up a BJG tank top and send it to me for free? Please?

The whole Perry Fan=Arnel hater thing would turn me off. So they are telling me who I have to like the most? I like Arnel don't get me wrong, but how could you hate the voice that gave Arnel the gig he has now? That's stupid. Now before some of you anti-Perry fans get started, I am not saying you have to like Perry. But Geez since when can a forum about a band so quickly forget it's Past?

It is the whole history that made this band great. I never cared for revisionistic tactics of over zeolous fanatics anyway. They live in a vacuum.

Read the album descriptions... start with Infinity and go forward... Perry is mentioned as being the new singer with Infinity, and after that you don't really hear a word about him until he's "taking control of the band against Herbie's wishes" and firing people with Raised on Radio. Cain's name first appears in the Departure description and after that its the Jon Cain Is Wonderful show in every description until 1986 where Steve Perry starts causing trouble. Revisionist indeed.

Was in the autograph line at a M&G once behind a girl who was getting the guys to sign a pair of these. Gets to Deen and he asks, "where did you GET these?" Girl replies, "You're selling them." Much eye rolling and snorting from Deen and Jon followed.

I get what they are trying to do, and it's pretty smart business wise, but the bio and line-up descriptions are a fucking disgrace. To totally leave out Rollie, Smith and Perry like that says a lot. I do however, love the leathery thing the guys have going on. Throw in a few nipple clamps, a spanking board and some trance music, and you got yourself a real good german bdsm movie! :o

Just took a look. Doesn't say much of you when you can't give any mention or credit to past members that helped get you where you are in the bio...a bio is supposed to be an accounting of your entire history. I won't bother looking at that site again.

The individual bios are interesting...in a bad way.

A 10 second glance netted me such gems as "Neal Schon was born at an Air Force Base near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. his family soon after moved to Jersey" Just Jersey? Are we speaking street slang now? New Jersey? Jersey, in the U.K.?

And Ross' bio states: "Ross valory was born Feruary 2nd in hometown..." Feruary eh? Must be a new month I never heard of. Proofreading is essential when the world is your audience.[/b]

Very superficial, and begs the question - why have that and a MySpace page, since the two seem to be vying for the same visitors. It's a shame someone didn't quality check the site for typos before going live too - most unprofessional. Check the bottom of each page for the Techinical Issues link, for instance.

Plus, the first time I accessed the site, it froze my browser.
