Escape is obviously a classic album for all time - and I'll never stop considering it as such. But I'm just a little over it at the moment. I like the freshness of Revelation and think the songs are just terrific for what I need right now.
Let's try this analogy Stevew2. Escape is your main squeeze, great tasting and all that but sometimes monotonous. You go out and there you see Revelation, standing at the bar looking fresh. You know she's a floozy but some times you want to try some taco instead of steak. You know the jewelry she s wearing is cubic zirconia but after a few beers it looks as good as the genuine stuff. So you wolf down the taco and it hits the spot. You know it's a one night stand and won't last long but sometimes you need a little bit of variety in the menu no matter how cheap. Besides, in the end you' know that you'll be back home with the Filet mignon again sooner or later.

You can flirt with Revelation, but you'll be taking Escape home. I guess. If you're into that!

Revelation is the kind you spend one night with and never call again.
He (or she) is bad in bed, but hey, sex is sex.
Evolution... now he (or she) the kind you marry.

You're right. But even that's a better option than Revelation.

Anyway. Right now I'd rather listen to Revelation over Escape and I'd rather listen to For The Love Of Strange Medicine over Frontiers.

No way. ROR is great. Maybe "Not tonight, honey, I'm busy listening to ROR..." LMAO!!
Gunbot wrote:annpea wrote:So, would ROR be "Not, tonight honey I have a headache"
More like, "Not tonight honey, my hip hurts" .
