I've always had a special attraction to the guitar solos in "Time" and "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd.

I played this TODAY!!!!!!

I almost asked SP to play it at ARfm but I got all wrapped up in Josh and you here in China Blue and at Ramos/Hugo. So, I never got around to the request. :?

Josh knows i'm in desperate like with him, doesn't he?

I played this and Ramos/Hugo's 'I Can Take You" about 20 times today!! (catch I Can Take You in this compilation video by Eric at mark 6:02-6:44) A major portion of the song is instrumental so I am not off topic. (not completely anyway)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=la6OFLNYs2c

BTW Eric-I requested this at ARfm and Steve Price doesn't have a clean copy of it. The promo cd is messed up on this song. know anyone that can take care of that little snap???

yikes. sorry to hear that.

I'm all about Arfm today apparently. The next show on after SP's was a Heaven and Hell tribute. But SP plays it all the time anyway. you might want to catch the rebroadcast. check the website. www.arfm.co.uk

I remember the first time I heard this.

My mom, step-dad and two brothers lived in Pryor Oklahoma. I lived with my dad in McAlester. I used to take the bus up to Pryor to visit about once a month. I was about 14 at the time, I think.

We were at a park off of a street named Coo-Y-Yah, which was the town's original name, given to it by the Cherokee Indians. It means "Huckleberry".

We were fishing and having a picnic. A picnic, can you believe that? Some guy across the pond at the park was waxing his car, with the cars doors open. "Feels So Good" started playing from his car, and I was a fan of it immediately.

I was fairly into jazz at that time and this song just floored me. When I got back home to McAlester, I had a friend that was really big into jazz, so I asked him what it was, and he told me it was Chuck Mangione. Ole Chuck had a brand new fan. I still like to listen to that song to this day.

Thanks for posting that GB, it's one of my favorite instrumentals as well.

Beautiful instrumental! One of the best things about finding MR's Journey forum for me was discovering Neal's solo work. Here's one of my favourites from Beyond the Thunder:
