Kenny is leaving us in August, but I think I already have a replacement lined up.

Also, just uploaded audio from our show Saturday...

This was "Line Of Fire," which we had dropped since last summer, and just worked up again this weekend.

This recording was done on our fourth show in three days (after already performing a full show Saturday afternoon), so that's the shape my voice would be in after 9 hours of singing.

You can hear the tune at www.reverbnation.com/journeytributeband

Check it out!

May well be a player from NC. I had originally thought of having players in two regions because of the travelling we are doing - One based out of OH or IN and one based out of LA or GA, but I think my buddy in NC may be up to the job with travel. Still have a few months to sort it out though...

That's cool. I hope you find someone awesome that can pull of the licks! Good luck with the gig. What's new with your solo album with Spinks?

Thanks, still working with John....Things are re-developing with a new Outfield record so his schedule is tight, and I am on the road 4 days a week, so we're averaging about a song a month, but we are moving forward!

Hey Jeremey, have you guys ever done Homeade Love or Chain Reaction? 2 songs I love that I'd like to hear you sing. I realize that Homeade Love was very early Perry and those runs he does would be difficult to pull off, but I'd like to hear your take Chain Reaction.

Also, how much(if any) Perry solo stuff do you do? Any other Street Talk, or FTLOSM stuff? Thanks.

Not to steal Jeremey's thunder, but I will answer about Chain Reaction... yes they do it, and it rocks. Big extended jam session.

Hmm. I've never seen it on Youtube, but I'm pretty stupid so I may have missed it. I'll re-check.

How about SP solo stuff? Anything?

Oh Sherry was all that was played at the two shows I attended (both within the last six months). Very good version of that as well.

Well, I understand you're a fan, but it sounds like from your descriptions of Escape, the Frontiers job would be a step down for him... :?

MS,

Chain Reaction should appear on our Myspace page within an hour or so...It's processing now, and I have to run out the door so can't hang around to babysit....

Anyway, check for the track at www.myspace.com/journeymusiclive

Features a keyboard solo by former player Isaiah Osborne that is really kickass.

J

EDIT: Okay it's online now, the last track in the playlist. Hope you like it!

Hey Dave, sounds great - Looking forward to it...

BTW the new site is on Mac Highway and iLife 09 won't publish automatically to MH as it's not a unix based server or some crap like that! Grrr....Have to publish to a folder still....Would ditch iLife all together if the entire site wasn't based on it.

Let me check on that for you

Jeremey...you're getting a big  for that statement! He didn't mention you, or say anything bad about Frontiers in his posts...he just stated how great Escape sounded back in the day, and that MOST people can't do Perry justice. He's a fan of Frontiers, AND he's trying to help you and you get sarcastic with him? I don't get you. :?
