Can you jerry-rig a guitar strap to it?

No...it is the size of a mini-grand...I would have to be like 10' tall to do it...

Besides...I refuse to wear parachute pants.

I hear Saint John's got that covered.

Don't forget the pink bandana and wife-beater shirt

Oh sorry! Gotta keep it on track! Not allowed to joke anywhere anymore? :| Anyhow, my husband is a piano/keys player, but he won't be in those areas at that time. There, that better?

Yes, but he is very sensitive, and this kind of talk in his thread may send him packing again for the 10th time..... :P

I think it's a little bit late.

Most good artists are sensitive. Look at Perry. I'm sure Jeremey knows how to take a joke, and if anyone is interested in his ad they will stiil contact him in spite of the penis envy posts.

Uhhh.,....no, the jokes and comments among people who I'm actually friends with don't bother me it all....It's just the personal attacks like the uncalled for one above that get old. But hey, we already cleared up months ago that you were beyond that, right?

Anyway, Andy has gotten himself in a critical situation with his job and cannot manage the travel required for these shows. Obviously by the looks of the venues, it's a critical issue, so if anyone is interested, please let me know.

Damn that sucks Jeremey. Hope you find the guy. Cant do Journey without keys..... Might not be a bad idea to get a sequencer in case you end up like this again. It would suck to use it but at least the show could go on. Well, as long as the drummer can hear it well it would work out otherwise the train would jump the rails for sure.

I play keyboards Jeremey but I wouldn't be able to get away from work for the gigs. I will check around with some of my musician friends to see if I can find anyone.

Have you posted anything on CraigsList? Maybe try posting ads on the Musicians Wanted section of CraigsList in several big towns surrounding the gigs. You can also post a free ad on my musicians forum at www.IllinoisMusicians.com .

Hope this helps. The show must go on!!!

Maybe you could do Journey unplugged. I guess it would have to be from the older catalog so the clubs probably wouldn't go for that though.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! And I absolutely agree with you. lol Jeremy seemed to have lost my number over a year ago, I'm not sure why. Just busy with family and touring the U.S. I guess. But it sounds like a fun gig.

I'm not sure what Jeremey's relationship with Journey is these days, but perhaps they could suggest someone from the outer music fringes? What's Rolie doing these days? Ragno would be an excellent choice too. Dude can flat out fucking play.

Do you have first hand knowledge that there is a problem there between them that would keep them from working together or is that only conjecture on your part?

A little Journey trivia - the Captured album and Time 3 boxed set both credit this to Tim Gorman, but it was actually Stevie "Keys" Roseman that played the piano on The Party's Over. I met Stevie at Ross' Cinco de Mayo party a few years back, we traded off on keyboards during an alcohol-infused, 4 hour jam! lmao Josh Ramos played guitar and the guys from Tower of Power were there too - god what a night. Stevie is a pretty great guy - I didn't know who he was at the time, sadly. I had to teach him how to play the intro to Black Magic Woman, and some of the guests were making a big deal about that. I didn't understand why until weeks later. .

Where in there did I say there is problem between them? I simply stated my own opinion that it's his loss because I think Eric is great on keys, nothing more, nothing less. I have no clue what goes on or has gone on between them.

Go find someone else on your long list to act like a lunatic with, I won't play your game

Has Jeremey even been back to see Eric's post yet and responded? No. So your comment that it's his "loss" is putting the cart before the horse and is only conjecture on your part. Due to anyone reading that might also jump to conclusions that you may have some knowledge which you don't it should be pointed out that your comment is only conjecture to his statement.
Oh...and I won't play your name calling game. 8)
