Good question..... however, the best way to learn to use twitter is do what I did. Take a day off work, sign up,
and start using it until you teach yourself what it does and how it works. It was like learning to ride a bike,
very slowly at first, total fear and confusion, frustration, and then, the lights go off and you start to see just
how powerful twitter can be. The possibilities are endless. I'm still learning.......................................goodluck

Okay I know I am slow but is Twitter like facebook?

No, Twitter is not anything like facebook, or myspace. It's a better Google like search system.

Very powerful. You get an account by going to Twitter.com, picking a name, and start following people
you find interesting. If they find you interesting, they follow you. Many celebrities are on twitter now
and they write to their fans and answer questions. I twitter with Kevin Spacey some. It's a public forum
where EVERYONE sees your post simultaneously. It is a great way to communicate with your fans if you
are a musician because they can get your tweet instantly. It works with iphone well. The program to use
is TWEET on your iphone and you use Twitpic for posting your pictures and it interfaces with your tweets.
The cool thing is that your words are limited to like 140 characters.

I use it to communicate with other lawyers from around the country. I have an entire base. I can post an inquiry
about some aspect of a case Im working on and get about 100 other lawyers giving me ideas for FREE... instantly!!

The one thing I find very creepy about Twitter is there is something called celebrity watch and they post things like.

"Steve Perry now shopping for carrots at Ralphs in Santa Monica."


Poor guy will never get any rest now. I would be creeped out if some twitter person was sending out a pubic notice
to 100,000 people all at once saying, "SP Fan in Oregon was seen leaving her office and driving over to Four Daughters pub with Richie Sambora." :ro
Otherwise Twitter seems like some powerful new technology. Good as a tool for law enforcement too I think.
