Glad you guys ended up posting my tweets here, that's really cool. The review from Thursday night (Journey) and more photos are now posted. Full galleries are on the way so check back later. Whitesnake, Judas Priest, Lita Ford, Yes, and Asia pics and reviews aren't far off either.

Its members have somehow managed to look even younger, and with the addition of singer Arnel Pineda, the youthful element of Journey is fully restored.
It’s hard to sum up this remarkable group as a whole, so some observances on the individual level are in order. Now on his second world tour with Journey, singer Arnel Pineda is a force to be reckoned with on stage. With uncontainable energy and emotion, his personality literally reaches out from the stage and into the crowd. It’s hard not to stare and be captivated by his presence as he nailed the ballads and guitar driven cuts alike without missing a beat.
Indeed the first night of the festival set the bar high for the remaining two nights, and Journey proved themselves asrelevant and impressive as ever.

Such a positive review not only of Arnel but the whole band but somehow I find myself alone here. Well, I guess it's lonely at the TOP.![]()

You know, if you go through my old posts when I first started here, you'll find I was on Arnel's team bashing Perry at every turn . I even think Strange Medicine may have been a SP loon back then before he returned as Gideon in a later life. Once it became 80% anti -SP around the forum , I changed over to the loon side as I thought the AP love machine was over the top at that point.
As far as anonymity, I've been fortunate enough to meet a number of people from this board in real life. I don't believe in posting anything I wouldn't say to somebody's face. I'm not here to be mean. I think out everything I say and try to present a valid argument for my point of view. I can't debate like Gideon but I do try to have something backing up what I say for the most part.
Okay, that's enough about me. Just trying to clear any misconceptions anyone has about me. I just come here for fun. I'm not a TRUUE fan as some are but I do like my Perry era Journey so this is, as far as I'm concerned the best place to be.

Way too serious and way too fucking well thought out. Damn, you must have the patience of Jobe in real life.
I come here for fun too and a lot of what is say here, in fun, is not the way I really feel or think. Truthfully, however, at this stage of the game I can't imagine how things could be better for Journey, overall, than they are right now, save for Perry having never left. So, I remain a fan. As long as I'm happy, well, nobody can steal that from me.

Thanks GB! I'll have to watch that again...
They haven't been using it in all shows since then though, have they? It was my first time hearing it live I'm almost certain.

No. And all the other stuff appears new, though I'd like to see if the WITS solo's were resurrected from the Departure tour. In all fairness it is new for this generation of fans so you were right in that aspect.
By the way, I'm anxiously awaiting your review on the Asia/Yes sets.

Sounds great! I am starting to write that review now in fact. Have you seen either band lately?
