I'm a photography enthusiast (novice) but I still cannot get good pictures like you or Marty. How far were you from the boys? Is the light source all from your camera?

Anyway, not to sound weird but am I the only one who notice how awesome Ross' set of mane looks? I'm starting to lose mine so I kind of envy those who still have full set of hair, especially those of Ross' age.

Thanks a lot! I appreciate all the great feedback.

I was actually situated a fair distance back in the middle of the crowd. I never use flash when taking concert photos as its usually banned, distracts the performer, and tend to make the images look flat. The type of lens you use is important, but so is your camera body. I took the majority of the photos at an ISO speed of 3200, which requires a Canon 50D or greater (I now use a 5D Mark II).

Ross' hair is amazing, btw!

It was the coldest Jam in history as far as I'm aware! The high on that day was 57, and it was dark, rainy, and a bit windy by the time Journey hit the stage, so they were very cold. Ross started out with his green shirt but then grabbed a black jacket about 3 songs in.
