Make a point to see the Moodys before they hang it up...they are still great

I know, I just saw them on TV in concert a few months ago and they still looked & sounded great.

Fates Warning just signed with InsideOut. The new album will be out next year, I assume.

I wouldn't bother with QR nowadays. They were amazing 17 years ago, though!

  i can see you don't know this bands at all... K. Diamond make some classic early albums like fatal portrait or Abigail (what about his work with Mercyful Fates), Twisted Sister with Stay Hungry, Love is for suckers, or the amazing Come out and Play..Saxon is a legend from NWOBHM, Fates Warning is pioneer in prog metal (even before DT) and at the same time as Queensryche), Scorpions was a kick ass band in their early records like Lovedrive, Virgin Killer, In trance, love at first sting ..should i go on?

so...go listen The Corrs or just listen this records i mention you and then we talk again Mister

Sorry, "Boss," you're wrong...Fates Warning rocks. Listen to their 1991 album Parallels and be converted!

I don't like KD & TS, but who doesn't like the first couple albums by Crue? Classic shit!

Jimmy Barnes
Ian Moss
John Farnham
Dave Bickler (original Survivor vocalist)
Jimi Jamison (solo material)
Steve Perry (does this one count?)
Kevin Chalfant
Gregg Rolie
Terry Brock
Magnum
Gotthard
Fair Warning
Danny Vaughn/Tyketto
Jeff Scott Soto (solo material)

up until they broke up last month.....Thunder. Maybe hope for a reunion in 5-10yrs???

I'm starting to think you hate all music. It's the only explaination. Seriously I've never seen you not call a band shit. I guess I could see from certain angles you calling some of them shit, but Fates Warning? Come on!!!

Twisted Sister/Motley Crue/Scorps = great 80's party metal. King Diamond = great horror-themed music, especially great to listen to around this time of year... and Andy LaRocque is a really great guitar player. Saxon = classic heavy metal. Fates Warning = KINGS of modern progressive metal.

Curious as to what you don't think is shit.

Fates Warning are the kings of modern progressive metal in my opinion... even above Dream Theater... what they lack in showing off they make up for in songwriting and emotion.

You're missing out, then. American Soldier is a very solid album, as was Operation Mindcrime II. Tribe is an acquired taste, Q2K was good and different, and I really enjoyed Hear In The Now Frontier, the album almost every QR fan seems to love to hate. Still, for me their absolute pinnacle is Promised Land.

Finally someone say it right..totally agree, always believe that FW are miles away above DT; FW songs have touching deep beautiful lyrics and full of emotions thanks to JM guitar and RA voice... DT lack of all that FW have, because their musician sometimes are lost in their virtuosity

DT used to put a lot more effort into songwriting than they do these days... I miss the days of Kevin Moore and Derek Sherinian. Also, they've gotten GREAT promotion w/ RoadRunner but since they signed with them they've been trying way too hard to cultivate the metal thing... wish they'd be more natural again.

Can I post my OWN band on here? I've never met any of them (Alex, the singer has been working with me on and off for nearly 2 years).

On a more serious note though.. I think my favorite bands that I haven't seen, that still COULD be seen are...

1. Phil Collins

2. Bad English

3. Genesis

4. Kiss

5. Europe

And finally...just for Rip...

DOKKEN!!!
