I can't go to any during spring break

Why not? What else are you going to do on Spring Break?

Poor ticket sales? Too costly to travel?

Probably a bit of both. Neal isn't 35 anymore and when he sat down and thought about what this is going to entail, relative to the amount of faces he'll see, I bet he scaled it back.
steveo777 wrote:It wouldn't surprise me if most of the casual Journey fans would have no idea who Neal Schon is outside of Journey. So that would leave ticket sales to the hardcore fans and that might be spreading things a bit thin.

Kinda ballsless, Luke toured all around the United States, including here. Had the humility to show up at a tiny ass little intimate bar. I sat close enough at a little table to step on his guitar pedals if I wanted to. It was great.

Neal's been on the road non-stop since he was 16, man. And considering he's coming off back to back 75 date tours (the latter one being a true worldwide tour), writing and recording a new album, and gearing up for a monstrous 2011, I'll give him a pass with just the California dates.

I won't. He should have considered that before scheduling stuff. Grow a pair if you're gonna go solo.

I won't either. FuFu is not amused.
I have plane tickets. It was St. Patrick's Day in a downtown Denver bar; he would have had a crowd even if people didn't know who the crap was playing.

More will know him than you think, trust me. He's been around and mentioned enough for people to fill the place up, considering the size of the places he was playing. Sure, he's not a household name like Eddie Van Halen or even a chump like Slash, but don't sell his name recognition short either. Not that including Journey in some form on the bill would hurt, mind you...

True. I just never meet anybody that knows the names of Journey members. Some barely remember Perry's name, but most do, and then asking what happened to him,and them. Except many have heard the youtube hype story by now. Though, I did meet an attorney the other day who said his college roommate from college, who he's still friends with, lives and breathes Journey and has followed them all these years still and is a major Neal Schon fan and is over the moon about Arnel. Really, the first time, beyond a couple of co-workers, that I've run into anyone who knows Journey members' names other than Perry.

Where do you live, Jana?!?(although, I really don't expect an answer) I have never met one single person that
did not know of Steve Perry/Journey ...not a single person old enough to know what a song is!!! Some of these same
people would be hard pressed to name another member of Journey, but Neal is named quite often!!
