Ross is a fantastic bass player....More musically talented than Cain, Schon, or Smith? Uhh....I don't think so, LOL.

J, I respectfully disagree regarding Skeletor. Dude can play Journey hit songs yes, but he is a very average player. One of his own bandmates(who I will not name), has even said so. 3 years ago, the band wanted to throw Something to Hide out there and Winds of March, but he couldn't remember it, or couldn't relearn the songs. He can't hold a candle to Marco Mendozza or Randy Jackson.

Or Billy Sheehan. :)

I love you Deb, I really do, but you need a wake up call. Mr Big is not the best band alive. You make it seem as if they have the best singer, best guitar player and best bassist. Yet they are playing large bars and clubs. They may be good and tight, but they aren't close to the big acts. I know I sound like Dan here, and it is not my intent to do so, but your blinders for Mr Big are getting in the way of your actual vision. :)

LOL, I never said they were the best band alive. My favorite, you bet! Like the band or not, big act or not, there is no disputing the talents of Billy and Paul and Eric. Vocals are more subjective, and sure I'm biased cuz I totally dig EM's vocals, but technically, Billy and Paul are amongst the best in their field, fact. Once again Dean, stats and venue sizes does not come in to play one iota when it comes to how I choose my music. :)

I was in Vancouver for awhile and yep, been there and done that. Did it on an actual ice surface in Abbotsford, BC. I was so liquored up on Molson Canadians I didn't care that my asshole was frozen. I swear my dick snot must have tasted like a salty slurpee to her that night. It was fuckin cold, dude.

I found that Canadian girls are much more wholesome than their whorish American counterparts. Very natural and healthier(thanks to that awesome healthcare they have). :)

That question is to be directed at Martin Short, not yourself.

Why, because I don't know the birth origins of a bar singer? Help a guy out. I am not a Mr Big fanatic, so why the fuck would I know where that ugly fuck was born?

To be completely honest with you, no, I had/haven't a clue...It sailed right over my dome. Still haven't caught it.

I can't wait to squirt a healthy stream of Liquid Ass on the back of your unsuspecting pant leg at the LA HOB in April. Ask Dan what that shit is like. There will be no one around you for that concert! The odor is near vomitting it is so lethal.

Now Deb honey, you know me. Do you really think I will pass up this golden opportunity to showcase my interesting humour? Not hardly sweetheart. Two bottles are in fact ordered, and they will be there for that show. Just embrace it, you can't run and you certainly can't hide from this stuff, so you might as well sit back and laugh(gag) with it. :P

I hope Stu shows..I am going to give him a lethal dose all over the back of his shirt, Hahahaha.

Wools, I have no intention of ruining anything for you. I am enhancing the atmosphere Sweetie. Trust me, you will see Don and Dan laughing so hard their faces will look like grimaced Indians...If we need a drink and the bar is crowded, I will simply make a hole with a squirt of Liquid Ass. :) I am telling you, it will be a priceless evening to be sure. You will be smiling to yourself aboard that Air Canada jet on the way home, thinking fondly of all the pranks that were played out. The HOB will never be the same. :)

I would say Neal and Smitty- BUT how about the "smartest" member of Journey: Gregg Rolie, because he saw what was coming and got out. Plus a class act in helping the band find his replacement.

Dean,

While I think that Mr Big isn't more than a one-hit-wonder and FAR FAR from being in the top 1000 great bands , Billy is the MAN when it comes to bass playing. He is without a doubt one of the best overall bass players ever. While totally amazing with his skills , speed and groove , he has a very melodic tone & style , almost in the same class as Marcel (RIP).

Carry on ...

I would have to say that the Journey member that is the most talented at the instrument they play would either be Neal Schon or Steve Smith. To me they are both the #1 best guitarist/drummer respectively in the world. There's no better guitarist than Schon and no better drummer than Smith. There's no style of music that they can't play.

Steve Perry is easily a top 3 lead vocalist.

Cain is a top rate keyboardist and great songwriter.

Rolie is great on the B3 and a very good singer.

Dunbar and Castronovo are top 10 Rock drummers.

Valory is very solid on bass.

But Schon and Smith are the best overall in my opinion.

Dude, Neal Schon is not the best guitarist in the world, far from it. Jesus Christ, some of you people.

What? Step away from the canned air can....Are you serious? Without SP it'd be 4 guys playing jazz fusion from the back of a VW Bus....Now I'm not saying SP was the best musically, but your statement just flat out lies....are you really Abitaman? Or are you LiePaster?
