Journey's social media skills definitely need an overhaul here.

Don, I copied this and changed the words. Nice catch. my point is, if Bruce can do this, why not Journey?

Cow Palace? Oh, the Oprah show.

Half way through, you'll get an explanation as to what he DID for his fans and HOW his fans participated. The guy sounds as good as ever. Blows Eric Martin away Deb.

Woah Woah Woah...let's not forget about their amazing virtual presence on "Second Life"...I kid, is that thing still up?
22 million Residents and yes, Second Life is alive, but JRNY has no presence there other than Tribute Bands who play "live concert soundtracks" and "puppet" the musicians.SL brought JRNY an untapped Global and Virtual presence. *shrugs* I agree that every media medium should be used to promote ..Plurk/Twitter/FB/MySpace/Blogger/Flickr/YouTube etc. etc. With Websites becoming passe, and Social Media so popular and free, A Viral Revival is fairly inexpensive and certainly a good ROI
I know Second Life was around, but Journey did at one time have a virtual island I think it was called - I assume it's still there

Journey hasn't been relevant, or put out anything worth listening to since Arrival - and then only 4 or 5 rockers were any good. Remember Me is the best post-Perry tune, and they shot that wad in '98.

Aww come on. Journey, as much as I despise them personally, are doing much better than anyone in the 80's not named Springsteen, Jovi or Metallica.
Rockindeano wrote:They thump bands like Def Lippard, and did so with Soto, who was fired in favour of Pineda. Soto led Journey crushed Lippard nightly.
