Personally speaking, I never really saw the similarity between NWA and BGTY... To me, NWA was a quintessential Journey song - one I wish had been on Trial By Fire, and/or on par with any of the Augeri efforts. And my point was, if Journey was returning to the "legacy sound", then why not let Jeremey continue to contribute to that end.

TBF? WTF? More than half of TBF should have been scrapped and while I'm a fan of the stuff they did with Augeri I don't feel any album was as strong over all as Rev.

Because many feel he had the opportunity to show off any musical wizardry he had for 20 some years before Journey found him. But, we shall see.

Just goes to show how classy the Journey guys are. Jeremey contributed a few lines and they were gracious enough to send him a Platinum Certification Record and give him a deserved, but not mandatory, writing credit. Congrats to all on a job well done.

True...then again he wasn't around the same caliber of musicians. He has lots of support from very experienced people in music now, as opposed to the hacks in the bar bands he played with before. Indeed, We shall see.
