Seems like it was a big event there, and the people loved it!

Never understood blank bass drum heads - put the new album cover on them with the local release date under it. It's free advertising! Geez, if nothing else, put a classic scarab or the journey url.

So far they are not tuning down. They probably will by the time they get back in the states.

Figured I'd post this from Jon Cain's Twitter just for fun!! It really sounds like Journey is tearing up South America! :D

Journey rocked a sold out show in San Paolo Brazil!! Crowd sang as loud as we played--

Hopefully we'll get that review from Silvio...

That's awesome, thanks for sharing it. He's right too, when you watch the youtubes, those fans are loud and know all the words. It's remarkable to see Journey suddenly evolve into such an international band.

nothing new so far, however.

Darya has the best clips shot from the front row, but I've only seen them posted on her Facebook page so far. Don't blame her not risking a strike against her account on YT.

In Dallas now, waiting for my return home. Freaking amazing trip, equal with Manilla in every way. Everyone who could (4 families) came with us to the airport and stayed with us right until we had to go. Lots of pics, long hugs, and some tears of course. I miss them already.

I would have loved that trip. Great place to visit and experience. And a bonus, Seal was in the same arena as Journey a week before, and Bono in the stadium the night before Journey. Talk about a trifecta it would have been for me. LOL

And Ozzy Osbourne the day after... I didn't realize how many kick-A concerts they have down there until a few days before I left, or I might have tried to go to some.

Of course they have been, that's why fans all over the globe know all the words to the hits. Look at there shows during the Frontiers tour. The played to almost a quarter million people just in Japan alone. The US and Japan account for 50% of the world music market, the band really had no need to play other places. Journey was still averaging over 110 shows a year, that's a lot of touring even without playing South/Central America and Europe.
