Unlike Revelation, now that I've heard the complete studio version of COH, none of the live clips really do it justice, sound wise. Not that I care for the song beyond that point but from the guitar playing to the layering of sound in the recorded version, the live performance appears the lesser effort. If the rest of the cuts are like this one, Eclipse can truly be seen as a sonic sequel to TBF in the production department.

I just listened to COH on a decent sound system. It had me wondering if Ross really played on this or if it was a better session bassist. The bass is about as right as it can be and also the drums sound crisp, then the song kind of takes off at the end and Neal sounds great. It sounds really good cranked up!

It's a long explanation as to why, but when I watch/listen to Youtube videos/recordings they don't play correctly for me. The picture, or in this case the sound, is warped sounding.

Is there any way that one of you can post the song on something like Yousendit or Rapidshare, etc, and send me that link in a PM?

shredded the video to an MP3 with AOA Extractor and...
I think the song is pretty freakin' killer!

It's at 192 kbps after conversion (6.68 MB), pretty much what you are going to get from Amazon and iTunes. Good enough until the CD comes out.

Maybe it's just me but when I listen to it I can just as easily hear it being done by the Scorpions. The layered guitars remind me of Matthias and Rudy tearing it up as they have on so many of their songs. And I could easily hear Klaus on vox. Either way, I'm really liking this.
