I say one more studio album. A live album would also be nice.

I could see a live album coming from this tour - something similar to what Def Leppard just did where they pulled songs from a bunch of different nights on the tour. That could go out in the year off after this two-year tour, and then they can come out with a new album and another two-year tour after that. And I could definitely see that being the end of their career, barring a Perry comeback.

JoePA just informed me that Journey is 88 miles up the road from me tonight. I had no idea.

He'll wait for Journey to hang it up then go out on a solo tour which will start that war all over again. You're right but there is no way that will ever happen.

He called and asked if you were going to the show. He wanted you to record it. I told him that I was positive that you wouldn't be there.

43rd birthday party tonight anyway. (Actual B-day is tomorrow)

I have a friend going. He is the one who records. I'll ask about him about it.

I got plenty of Journey fix this summer anyway. Augeri for free and Jeremey for $12.

It would be ridiculous to mention him. There's no point, relative to Journey's timeline from Perry forward. Why mention someone with 0 CD sales in Journey and not one original song?

If they're gonna have a timeline from SP to Arnel, including SA's "throat problems" then they certainly should include Jeff's tenure in that timeline. He was the reason "Journey's journey" didn't come to an end in that interim.

I think one needs to remember that the above article is just a promo blurb that is on the local Philly webpage. I am sure the guy who wrote it up was not overally concerned about hitting every single piece of Journey history post-Perry. Granted he mentions Augeri, but he was an 8 year veteran with the band and should have been, but even the band itself basically ignores Augeri's tenure since his departure, so Soto, like him, love him, or hate him was really nothing more than a footnote in the history of the band. And, Jeff likely got the nod because of his relationship with Neal, but if he couldn't have stepped in, Neal would have had someone else waiting in the wings.
