The one night Arnel has a cold and after the show he gets praise from everyone about how good he was. But Arnel knows his voice is not 100%. He states he is able to hide it well but he still knows. We also see all the vocal remedies Arnel carries with him. And there was alot of it. I get Arnel always wants to give it his all and be 100% all the time. A few times we see Arnel missing home and how heavy this weighs on his heart. Very cool inside look. Can't say enough what a great film this was. I am going to have to watch it again.
Dude, as a singer, I was watching ALL that stuff going... "Okay... I have that!, I have that! I've tried that... Hey, same humidifier I have, Throat Coat Tea- awesome, etc.". My wife goes "God, looks like our kitchen counter!"

For as long as I've read interviews of singers, I've seen Throat Coat listed as being a staple in their respective arsenals of beverages. A year ago or so, my youngest daughter had bronchitis followed by strep which led to her losing her voice almost completely for about 3 months.

At some point during her affliction(s) I told my wife to pick some up to see if it would help even in some small way. It did to some extent. Since I'd never tried it, I made myself a cup one day and OMFG!!! That shit is
N A S T Y!!

And I'm a tea person!! I knew something was weird about it when the directions say to place tea bag in a cup of hot water then cover it an let it steep for... oh Hell I can't remember.... something like 2 hrs.!! Just kidding, it was like 5-10 mins IIRC but still, that's a long time to steep a tea bag - especially while covered. I know pro's swear by it but given the choice of drinking a cup of that vs. licking my dog's ass..... pretty much a toss up.
