Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back. A good debate sees you darting through the woods and over the river to some safe house not seen by those watching. What the hell is that?

Admittedly, I'm new here, but from a casual observation of your prior conversation with Gideon, it can safely be stated that you are a genuine hypocrite.

Not only did your prior argument provide the reader with an inference that you believed that his opinion was stated as objective material, but you genuinely flamed him because of it. Might I inquire from where this mantra was derived?

You know full well hedge trimmers can't get through that shit. Too much hairspray. Her head has its own gravitational field. She's the reason the Ozone layer has so many holes.

This is true. I'm glad that they cut down those CFC's in the hairspray otherwise, we wouldn't have the ozone anymore. :P

Edit: I go through about four to five trimmers per week. :O

I know SP has huge insecurites and that makes me think we'll never see him live again which truely sux!

You like "Why Can't This Night Go On Forever"?
I do, id like to hear Arnel try that one,if he can nail that Ill be even more impressed. He shouldnt even be compared to Perry.Perry was the orginal.Arnel does a great job,I wouldnt get all foggy headed just cause they had a good show.Arnel did a great job, it would be retarded to compare it to Journey with Perry 25 years ago,Arnel would admit to that also.I enjoyed it for want it was, nothin more. And if friga does that gay hand wave thing after his long ass solo, ill have to piss on the shitty piano .Bring back the whale you gobbler

You are as bad as some myopic Arnelian sometimes. :) Come on Deb, as much as you and I for that matter love Jeffy, Perry can't be topped. Go listen to Perry do this on the Houston DVD and then listen to anyone else try that and tell me with a straight face that Perry's version was inferior.

WTF is wrong with you people? Are you all on dope?

I stand firm on this point so stand down. yes I am hopped up on drugs--Pamprin so LAY THE FLUFF OFF OF ME!!      perimenopuase and PMS is not a stable combo. ??comprende??? :P

Jeff just has a better feel for IBAWY--Perry's version is too pretty..not enough angst if you will. I never liked the song before Jeff did it.
(ps--Jeff's Classic Metal radio interview from last night is posted downstairs and he really props Perry big time.)

back to Arnel-AATY is one of the best songs I've ever heard and I don't forsee ANYONE ever being able to duplicate his rendition. the song is a masterpiece and he has mastered it. bar none.

Okay. I have insomnia at 3 in the morning. So I was trying to view the rest of the songs, but didn't finish. I'm going to state, though, that What I Needed was the best for me b/c I thought Arnel's vocals were unbelievable and Neal was definitely on fire in this song and it was a new song. To me, it's a better song live than on the CD even. So that's my pick for standout song of the concert. 8)

Wow, congratulations to Journey - they hit one out of the ballpark! I've never heard Arnel sound better on any other performances (I'm limited to YouTube) than he did in Manila and it's pretty amazing to go out there and be better live than on the Revelation studio versions - all of the band members were great and I'm glad to see Deen is still singing lead on a few songs! Arnel deserves a lot of credit for pulling himself up, working hard, and delivering such a great performance after what happened in February. If he can consistently maintain this level through the tour, I think it will quiet much of the dissent over his being chosen in the first place.

I have to say, I love the solo Neal put into 'Open Arms' - it sounds like it always should have been there.
