Since Jeremey Hunsicker was honored with a plaque for Revelation's RIAA certification of Platinum, does that mean that Augeri and Perry can technically include that album in their resumes as platinum albums that they have participated in?
Jeremey had one co-writing credit on that album, Augeri one and Perry had nine.
Both discs had to be counted to reach the certification number so it seems to reason that if one co-writer was acknowledged then all of them could claim credit.
Since Perry has already had a multi-platinum album, along with six Top 40 singles from his solo career alone, not to mention all of his Journey hardware, it probably means nothing to him but for Augeri, a guy that helped Neal and Jon keep the band afloat when things could have just ended, it would be a great nod to his eight years of service with the band.

I can go along with that. The inclusion of the Augeri tune was a very nice way of saying thank you to him. As was the Hunsicker plug. Very classy. Kudos to both of them and the person/people that made those decisions.

Now to see how far you'll go. How about Augeri coming out in a small venue, like a casino and doing the acoustic version of Kiss Me Softly with Neal and the gang? Too much?

I'm always in favor of past members sitting in. That would be great.

I got that idea from seeing Peter Criss do it with Kiss during an acoustic rendition of Beth.

I'm in favor of the idea too but I don't think SA has gotten past his vocal problems. It's a shame too.

He's just older. He sounds pretty dang good on the clips I've heard. Good enough to do Kiss Me Softly. He gets up there, but not into the stratosphere. Not on that shit track anyway.

I heard Augeri sing not too long ago and he's lost quite a lot (understandably so), but he could easily get through one or two of his Journey songs. He would sound just fine singing one or two songs.

I'm just talking a one off if they're ever in the same neighborhood. The people here that saw Augeri at the JTTC were pretty ecstatic about the acoustic renditions of Faithfully and KMS.
And since Steve actually played Guitar during those, it would make it even cooler if he and Neal did it while the rest of the band chilled in the backround.

Obviously, Faithfully wouldn't be one of those songs but Steve has some others with his name on the credits that they could choose from.

This is one of the more ingenious things I've seen from Journey. This is a great medley. Arnel does a great job on this.

Just a really great job by Arnel. 8) I got tears in my eyes on WCTNGOF in one part. Love hearing some of the guitar by Neal on Patiently.

I would edit that post if you don't want to be ridiculed as just another "Arnel Pineda and the J-Boys" fan.

I'm am too much of a pinhead to worry about that.

At least I try listen and appreciate some songs during the SA era. That should at least give me some bonus points.

Bonus points for the concept subtracted by the awfulness of your song selection. Christ, do you fuckers listen to anything but sappy love ballads? Try growing a pair and rocking a bit.

Easy there. Chubby was one of them who was frantically combing the internet trying to help find a vid of "One More", one of the first times we heard they played it.

Maybe so, maybe so, but a garbage song selection for sure from the Augeri era and not at all a fair representation of his work with the band.

So, what's your point? The dudes in prison have mommas who love them. When it comes to cars, there is an ass for every seat and with music, there is an ear for every song.

Gotta agree. Chubs had some nice ballads in her list, which I love.

You ever stop to think those guys read this place and actually listen to the wise old fans?

Absofuckinglutely. Either that or you all it a awfully close coincidence...Hell yes Neal reads this place.

huh? Why would he? It's not like the opinion of 2-3 dozen peeps are going to represent 1000's of paying fans to see them in concert? If he does visit MR I would guess it's only a couple of times per year.

He flat out told me on the phone..as he was cracking up reading the forum on the bus while talking to me! He said there were a lot of ideas here and not all were/are bad.

Like everything on this forum, it's hard to swallow since no one ever supplies any real evidence of anything. But I'll give you props and take you for your word on this one. Very cool that you had some conversations with Neal. :D

I guess this site has more weight with Journey than I realized. So...they could be watching me type right now then....hmmm.....

Hah, yeah I was laughing that the list of "favorite Arrival songs" included one that wasn't on the album and another mislabeled. Didn't mean for it to cause this much trouble.
