What planet are you living on? Deals and offers are routinely mentioned in the press and trade circles. No, maybe not the exact sums - although sometimes they are - but the rough ballpark figure or size of deal.

I would say that my own salary at the moment is fair to middling. There...I said it in a public forum. :oops: :roll:

I think u left out the word "not" in that 1st sentence.

Matty boy, u get a salary. U have a boss. A band's "salary" is what they get from a record deal, concert proceeds, merch proceeds, etc.


Susie. Be honest. If a major label offered Schon a shitload of cash would he say no and then fire the singer?

Prior to 6/12/07, I would have thought not. But here's what went down. Journey got a shitload of free publicity from the Soprano's. Instead of capitalizing on that by making public appearances as a band, promoting new work & concerts, (which is what ANY other band would have done) they took down their website & just about disappeared, barring a couple of sketchy interviews that said nothing much. That doesn't make any more sense to me than them turning down a record deal when they've had such a difficult time getting one in recent years. So to answer ur question, he just might.
