Saw Lindsey Buckingham on Friday night. Neal should stop messing around and start practicing playing guitar because he isn't in the same league.

Neal is a mental midget. I swear if he couldn't play guitar he'd be serving fries in a McDonald's drive thru. Talented on guitar, but a dunce.

Anyone here think Perry didn't make the right call taking his money and saying goodbye now?

Like Perry, Neal is not fit to run this band and should let Jon decide the direction of the next album. I'm also sure that this silly spectacle has been somewhat taxing on the other members. All of this would have better off after the tour was over.

I would image it's also taxing on the fans who have paid several hundreds of dollars for a meet and greet, that Neal has
had no problem blowing off.

I agree! Too busy banging the reality heiffer. I've lost some respect for my guitar idol. Sorry to say. I don't care what he does or who he does it with but when it's thrown in the face of the audience it's just alittle sickening and dodging the meet and greet not professional. I think it's time they retire.

You know going in that all of the members may not be there, but there's no excuse to miss virtually all of them. To my knowledge, Arnel, a guy very susceptible to colds and viruses, has never missed one. The package is still great, but that's primarily because of the great seats, Jeff (the ILAA guy), and the interaction and acknowledgement of the fans from Jon, Deen and Arnel.

Very good point Dan. One of these days post Journey I hope to see Arnel perform and say hello.

It's refreshing to see someone post who appreciates Arnel as a singer and person, aside from Journey. No disputing he's a great guy.
I'm sure nobody can fault the guy for taking the great opportunity that he was given by the band to change not only his life, but many lives
around him. He was able to realize his dream of his foundation to help unfortunate kids, which I think is just awesome on his part.
I can't help but think that he has to be really uncomfortable with the controversy Neal has brought the band as of late.

But...but...Neal said he was happily married with 2 small children in 1996 (on tape in the TBF "turkey" promo). Gotta go find that.

I stand corrected, though…Neal didn’t actually say he was happily married :? .
To Jon's credit, he is still with his wife Liz, and the babies (twins) and 3 yr old are now teenagers and following Dad's footsteps.
