Last thing I remember was sauntering through the lobby at 3:?? am and seeing Steve and Lydia Augeri chilling on the couch talking to some fans. I have to say that this Nick Lynch kid that performed last night was absolutely amazing. Steve Augeri is an incredibly classy guy and so is his wife.

People that are on the fence about this event really need to step up to the plate and make one of these functions. $125 is an extremely small price to pay for a great cause, some amazing sets of music, a frickin' 7 course meal which included monstrous shrimp and filet mignon, and open bar with top shelf liquor for FIVE hours. :)

I'd hate to say I told you so..... :D Glad you made it! It was WONDERFUL seeing you all again! Big hugs to everyone!

Dan,I was thinking the same thing!
I will try to make it next year,I will even wear a Tux!
I am hopeing on Getting Mr Augeri to California for a JTTC avent,I am thinking a Tie Dye ball.
I can sell the shirts and donate the cash for the Cause.
All the gals with Pink Tie Dye garments and the Dudes with Pink and Blue would work.
I am expecting to hear Back from Steve Augeri and Dr Val this week.
Steve really showed intrest on doing this.
It would be like a West coast Tie Dye Ball but a concert scene with 4 band's!
Maybe Journey to the cure Gator Bash!

There could be a Formal East Coast Sparkle Tie Ball and a West Coast Tie Dye ball!
We need a Journey to the cure avent in California, this could be a huge sucess.
I would also get the Miles Schon Band to play!
Also working on the Gregg Rolie band for this if it happen's.
Question, who would attend if this were to happen?
I am working on the historical Fox Theatre in Redwood City California, with a 1,800 person Capasity!

That was soooo funny! Augeri is sitting at home with carpal tunnel right now.

I know, right... we were CRACKING up.... 24, 23, 22,21

LOL, you all are so funny! There were only 5 things, and half were for friends who couldn't make it. (2) 8x10's, (1) Tall Stories CD, and (2) copies of Generations. Oh, wait... My set list, too!

On the video issue, I got a bit confused. Last year there was none permitted, but this year I understood we were looking to have some done. I didn't realize Matt couldn't make it until the day of (and missed ya bro!), so with him and Marty both out, I sort of filled in as a makeshift photographer using Lori's Nikon. Saw a couple of people taking vids of songs and thought to grab an excellent chunk of "Kiss Me Softly" from the guitar solo to the end, and the entire "DSB" singalong for Lori. I'm going to send them to Val to see if they are anything they could use; otherwise, they'll never be seen online.

Anyway, had a total blast helping with and enjoying the event, and once I get back home in front of a real PC, I'll further debunk the carpal tunnel myths.

One quick thing I enjoyed - seeing Dan sitting on the edge of the stage watching Steve, and asking him
if he was having a good time. He said something like, "When do we EVER get to do something like this?" :)

Also his reaction to finding out there had been a mixup and he'd actually won that autographed copy of Escape! I believe Faith20yrs donated that item, and I've never seen one so beautifully signed by all 5 members before. It's a real treasure!

Hugs, Wixie, and one for Gina too ... I can really relate ... leaving them behind, coming home to the empty bedroom ... :( Just packed my youngest off for a master's program in Boulder this past weekend; he'd been around here for undergrad & now he's really gone. Sigh.

Thanks for all the kind comments on our party pics everyone; makes the fun last longer when it's shared. :D
