The weather doesn't appear to have been a factor at all. Great idea to stretch the field, Ben looked like that extra week off did him good.

I'm happy the Eagles won (lifelong Eagles fan here). I think it'll be a good game against the Cardinals no matter who winds up winning. It'll certainly be different than than the Thanksgiving game where the Eagles slaughtered them. Although if the Cardinals had to come back East, they'd lose as has been proven this year. Seems like they can only win West of the Mississippi.

As for the phone thing, Dononvan said it was a mistake, but he was just having fun. The man's been ridiculed and he's on a roll.

No matter what the outcome, I say he's back with the Eagles next year along with Andy.

I used to hate them, but not anymore. That's a good organization. I'll root for them to win the SB.

Forget LT, the Chargers really missed Michael Turner, Sproles is not the same kind of back at all. I like this version of the Steeler offense with the long bombs mixed in. Ben looked really comfortable.

Cashed on the Eagles +4 and the Steelers -7. If the Dallas Mavericks can cover the 3 tonight it will be an excellent day for me. And I'm still not sure why San Diego even showed up today.

Another typical choke job in the playoffs for the Chargers. They were completely overmatched in that game. I like Phillip Rivers, as I think he's a good QB. I think the rest of that team has a bunch of pussies who think they're better than they actually are, and none of them have ever won a damn thing! Anyone who thinks Sproles is the answer doesn't understand football. No guy who is 5'6" (in high heels) and 160lbs soaking wet has ANY shot of being anything more than a kick returner or 3rd down change of pace back in the NFL. The fact that he is even those things defies the odds, based on his legal midget status! The Steelers looked a lot better than they really are. I think the Steelers/Ravens game will be a dream football game. A complete backyard brawl, punch your opponent in their mouth kind of game. I would be stunned to see more than 17 points combined in that game, and I wouldn't be shocked to see it end 6-3 in favor of the Ravens.

Only 2-2 for me  If I had only stuck to the AFC, I could have been a perfect 2-0. I'm not at all surprised that the Eagles won but am still STUNNED that Arizona won! I think even the Cardinals are surprised they won!

I'm not too shocked that the Eagles won, but I am a little disappointed that the Giants didn't show up.

I about blacked out 4 times from going absolutely out of my mind the entire game. What an atmosphere and what a city that loves their football team. Started off ROUGH with SD moving 4 plays with ease on a scoring drive. But it was okay, because adjustments are apart of the game.

Once again, there is a reason why the score was 11-10 last game. It would of been like this game without the penalties and drives stalling. San Diego was outmatched, outplayed, and really... didn't deserve to be there. I knew it would be a game, but thought it would actually be a tough match up for the most - part. This was slaughter. This was a great display of football, in all phases.

14:50 second time possession advantage in one quarter? I've never seen that before and just goes to show how DOMINATING the Stillers played.

I wish tango would of did the whole game play by play like he did the first drive. I would of liked to read it in writing.

HERE'S to STILLER NATION!!!! and a return to the Championship. Bring on Baltimore. BRING IT ON.

PS. Congrats to Philly for advancing to the NFL title match. I still got the shot of my prediction of a PA Super Bowl.

3-1 this week.

7 days can't come soon enough, HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!!!!

Great picks dude, you were about the 1 out of 4 billion to pick Arizona! I had a nice 2-2 mark but you took the cake. You deserve it bro and I'm glad bragging rights are kept in Stiller Nation for the week!

All Pennsylvania Super Bowl. Gotta pull for Philadelphia being that there are far more Democrats there than those gun toting, truck drivin necks in Pissberg.

Fuck, I am sorry, but watching the NFL after a week of great Bowl games put me to sleep. NFL=boring.

Yeah...and after all those moronic bowl games, nobody has any clue who the number one team in the country is! You can keep all your "Poulan Weed Eater" bowls and I'll stick to a sport that actually allows their champion to be determined on the field!

The problem I see you having, is you have no college teams in the Northeast worth a shit seeing live.

Go to a college game John, then go to a pro game and get back to me. NFL simply is too corporate, to sterile.

Come on Dean, think about it. Imagine if you could get rid of ALL THE PANSY WANNA-BE college players that aren't good enough and replace them with the best players that ever walked the earth.

Ding ding ding, you guessed it, the NFL.

I'd take professionals over wannabe's any day of the week.

Oh yeah, I've been to a major college game when I traveled to Penn State when they played Notre Dame. It was out of control, a frenzy, but the feeling I had was a bunch of drunken frat partiers cheering for their friends just because their from the same college.

I was right at home last night in Heinz, but the difference is a whole City cheering on a unit that resembles a family. That's just my opinion, nothing will ever beat the NFL.

Dude, a few points. I guess it is different when you actually are an alumnus. You are forever tied to that school, and that school, is your extended family. For me, it is Washington State, and when I see a person with Cougar gear on, it's immediately respect and fellowship. Ask Gator. Well, don't ask him, we don't need 4 pages of Gator bullshit. Ask RedJoe13 about Penn State. It is amazing. Going to a college football game, with true fans, and not dropping 200 bills for a seat, chugging beers with other like minded, rabid crazed fans is unbeatable. No corporate boxes, no fake cheerleaders. At a college game, you have the bands, hot cheerleaders, and cheap beer being drunk by kids with a burning fever.

At the NFL level, there are some great team atmosphere's. Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Green Bay come to mind. Those towns are like college in the way that they are fucking dedicated fans. However, go to Miami, Oakland, Houston or Detroit. Do any of those teams home games fire you up? Didn't think so.

Add to that the stupid assed NFL overtime rules and you can have the NFL. Also, the murderers, rapists, drug runners, gun toters, and basically bad people that is the NFL and I can say I LOVE not having the NFL in Los Angeles. I bet you if you weren't in Pittsburgh and lived in say, Cincinnati, your passion would be a bit tamed.

Very solid, and valid points.. as I expected from you.

But, if, by some chance, in another life.. whether I was Arabian, Pakistan, Egyptian, you name it.. you cut me and I'd bleed Black and Gold. It is in my spirit and when you bleed something, it cannot be tamed.

Good post, dude.

I can appreciate your passion oh YOUNG one. But to say My Chargers didn't deserve to be there is outrageous. In a game there will be a winner and a looser. Going in at Half Time we had Pitt right were we wanted them. Can't tell me you weren't nervous it was that close at Half.
Third quarter a long drive for Pitt using half the quarter and scoring. They did a great job on the ground.
Chargers a great run back and a FLUKE TIPPED BALL and a pick. THAT WAS THE KEY RIGHT THERE. If there was not that FLUKE we would have scored and been right in it.

Same as the Carolina game. There had to be a looser and a winner. Delhomo was the scape goat. 5 or 6 picks??? WTF. They should have pulled him. After the thrid it was evident in his face he was out of control. A rookie would have played better.
But to say a team didn't deserve to be there?? Come on..........

Most of the top ranked teams got smoked by teams with worse records. You just never know what team will show up on any given day. The Steelers are tough at home but they have squeeked out some wins that they easily could have lost.
The Ravens have no offense but I would be scared as hell if I had to play that defense no matter who you are!

As long as Dallas, 49ers and New England aren't in it I am content!

Youngfan, I love your passion dude. It's addicting, unlike Gator's which is fucking nauseating. Anyway, I have but one sour grape to pick and then fire at you.

You said the Chargers didn't deserve to be there. They did win their division, and they did beat Indy to get to Pittsburgh. Those are indisputable facts. However, if you want to play the "don't deserve" card, I can say with a straight face right now, Pittsburgh definitely "didn't deserve" it's Super Bowl trophy 3 years ago. That game was so fuckin rigged even Steeler fans on message boards felt bad about it. That was a Jerome Bettis sympathy pay out and nothing more. Seattle was clearly the better team and they got fucked more ways than possible.

I give Stuart NO MORE THAN 5 MINUTES TO COME IN HERE BLAZING.

You bet

assuming your speaking in sports terms.

Philly 23 New York 11. Philly would be considered the winner of the game and NY would be considered the Looser of the game.

If it was a western. The dead gunfighter would be considered the looser and the standing breathing gunfighter would be considered the winner.

Now all of this applies to simple Jim Carey rules. LO OSER.

In a dictionary you would see it spelled Loser!
