U think him saying I have no Foreigner, Whitesnake, etc. in my collection owns me? He was wrong. I have LOTS of them. No one would think that owned me unless they were in love w/Matty. U seem male so the only conclusion is ur hot for Matty.

 Serves me right for breaking my own rule. Never argue with idiots!

Actually, he said:

"So, as long as we can keep doing mid-charters, I can promise you sold-out tours, and multi-platinum releases."

He also said:

"I'm a manager. At the point that Journey stopped in '83 they'd sold maybe 22 - 25 million records. Nothing to sneeze at, but nothing compared to the 75 million they've sold now. What I was able to do for them in death was more fantastic than in life."

Nice try but no, those are ur posts.

Show me one post where I have introduced a sexual reference to Jonathan Cain. Just one.

I'm not the only person who thinks this Matty. There are lots of people I wouldn't call legendary, but their fans would. Metallica, for example. I couldn't even name one of their songs or their band members.

No - but you surely know they have earned a legendary status for themselves - whether you like them or not.

Nasty!

Sorry - I didn't mean it to be. The guy desrves more success than he's had. I guess my point is that for JSS the old "he's got potential" rationale must be wearing thin by now...

JR, I like you, but you need to just try and back out of this gracefully. He's just abusing you now with facts now.

Okay since you need this broken down for you. He was pointing out that you're a dolt who knows nothing of legendary singers as those that front those bands by ranking Jeff #2. He was making a point that obviously zoomed right through or bounced right off your skull!

I am NOT watching it again to give u the exact minute.

I gave you the exact minute and second, Susie. You habven't looked it up because you KNOW it's not a "fucking gayass smock".

Don't even tell me that was the fashion of the day. No one else in the band is wearing one.

This isn't some barber shop quartet cheeseball group who wear the same outfits, for crying out loud.

(Altho I admit ur other hero looks like a fucking moron in his spandex & polkadots).

And you'll probably be telling me next that spandex wasn't the fashion of the day either....

Freudian projection definition #2...

"A defense mechanism in which the individual attributes to other people impulses and traits that he himself has but cannot accept. It is especially likely to occur when the person lacks insight into his own impulses and traits."

What? Actually what are u smoking?

U really should start ur own little Matty fan board. I'm sure he'd be willing to make a few guest appearances :-)

Yeah right. Actually if I remember correctly. Matty (as you call him) and I have had an argument or 2 about politics. I'm a realist JR. He's handing you your own ass with each post.

U got that from a site called kidzsmocks.com. Need I say more?

That's because it's a fucking smock!

Right u gave the exact minute & second b/c u LOVE watching it. I don't. That's not a fucking gayass smock? Oh man, I need to start a poll on this.

I can see that the coat is "gayass". But it's still a coat.

But the question is: were pink polka dots on a fat black man?

Probably not. But so what? What's your point here?

Stop trying to play the "it's just my opinion" card. Your post below shows you were elevating your tastes over someone elses. I don't have to argue that 1. Perry or Mercury 2. Perry or Mercury. Both legends, while most people may not have them 1 or 2. They'd both certainly be in everyones top 10.
JR (Susie) wrote:Or I just have better taste than u. I am proud of my collection & supremely proud to say it does NOT include ANY Air Supply or Barry Fagilow.

JR (Susie) wrote:Britney Spears & Madonna are considered legendary.

Britney Spears is considered a legend in your world  Last I saw she was bald headed beating an SUV with an umbrella.
JR (Susie) wrote:A LOT of people say Manilow is legendary & many think he's an AMAZING singer. I fucking hate him & Air Supply.

Now fuck off back under ur rock u moronic imbecile.

I don't like Air Supply or Manilow either. But I don't "Fucking hate him & Air Supply" because they don't play my preferred type of music either. Now who's the moronic imbecile?

You're either lying because you're too proud and stubborn to back down....or you're as blind as an old bat.

Thank u for finally seeing the light!

Susie...PAY ATTENTION. I went to the smock site....to find a picture of a smock...to illustrate how different the picture of the smock...from the smock site...was from JONATHAN CAIN'S COAT.

Please tell me you understand what's going on now?

Awww u changed ur mind back AGAIN :-(

I'm going to have to chant the serenity prayer in a minute....

Nor were gayass smocks. That's my point. Get it?

That the coat wasn't fashionable in the 1980s. Well, I came up with two exmples to illustrate that it was. You have just stuck your hands over your ears and gone 'la la la la'.

I personally can't stand her as I said. But many people do consider her a legend. Once again, ur wrong.

Let me guess! You asked 10 of your friends to sing a song by a legendary singer and they all broke out with, "Hit Me Baby One More Time", right?

It's a ballad. Of course it is aiming at the fan's heartstrings. Could your point be any more banal?

SHow about when I said u could use the Arrival couch photo for something & u said it was a wanking reference? How about when I said Adonis, I meant Amadeus & u construed that as a wanking reference? Wanking is sexual in ur book, right? LOTS of times, Matty boy. LOTS.

Unfortunately, you had already mentioned wanking several times and then you followed up with this "using the photo for something" line - which was clearly a feeble double entendre.

So what did you mean then about the Arrival photo?

What defines "legendary status"? Me knowing their name? There are tons of bands whose fans would call legendary but I don't know their names. Case in point, there's a band who plays in Marathon, FL in the FL Keys. I was searching for the singer once & came across several sites where he was referred to as legendary to the Keys. I didn't even know he'd been around since the 80s. If I mentioned his name here, no one would know who he is. Does that make him any less legendary to his fans or the writers of those sites?

Okay. JSS is a legend...in your house.
