Sitting at my computer in my office in the basement of my house, I hear the mail fall through the mail slot onto the floor right above me. My chair flys backward, I bolt up the stairs nearly busting my but to get up the stairs as fast as I can. I approach the mail sitting on the floor ... and there it is ... the package from Amazon.com.

Like a child at Christmas, I tear it open and reveal Steve's beautiful face on the CD. I open it frantically to read (Insert sound of choir of angels) "The Liner Notes". What? No liner notes ... I read carefully ...

"Full liner notes, photos and more included as PDV file on this cd ... Enjoy!!"

I run, giddy as a child, back downstairs to my computer and insert the disc.

His beautiful face (pic from Street Talk) fills the entire screen ... then I'm guided inside with a click ... still giggling!!

I felt like that child who ran to the Christmas Tree on Christmas morning, looked in the stocking and found ... a rock!

No new pix ... and the liner notes were the same ol stuff we've already read about how those songs came to be ... interestingly, all the songs were discussd except "What Was". Hmmm.

Unless there's some secret track on the cd (which I'm listening to now) this one might just be a dud for those of us who expected a little something extra.

It'll be a little treasure for somebody who barely knows him and doesn't own his stuff already.

A tad bummed!

Peope collect import discs just for the thrill of it even when they already have all the material from previous domestic issued discs. Think of the novelty of it. How many of your other Journey or Perry CDs flash Perry's grill on the screen when you pop them into the computer?

Don't get me wrong, of course I love the pix ... he's just so sweet and intriguing to look at. I guess I had hoped for a little something more from him ... confirming any new music. Should've known better. . . but I'm not gonna be a debbie downer about it!

It's a perfect little treasure for someone who's never had one of his cds. For the rest of us ... we still wait....................

It's a corporate GH thing just warming the market for the next release.
It actually started with that '3.0' thing last fall.
Wouldn't surprise me at all if we see him on American Idol this year.

True dat! I remember reading an interview from one of those magazines years ago where the interviewer said he had one of the most intense gaze she'd ever seen. Gawd, that is one smokin' hot pic and I don't just mean the sweat dripping off his chin.
