Now thats funny. The support is dwindling a bit fast huh DBoy? You've been in here all day. What gives? Nothing else to do but try to make everyone else join you wallowing in misery?
Send your boots to Sony, or better yet find the unemployed dude who leaked Arrival. Sure they'll help you.
"Yeah, I know. So they use stage monitors instead of ear plug ins. Same thing. Elson is the conductor..plain and simple."
Is that all you got? The band does use the ear monitors, but Kevin don't.
One more time. Kevin Elson does not use the Click start.
You got nothing. Nothing.

Jonathan Cain is the one using the click track. Also,I am tempted to believe that Augeri's voice tracks are all in Cain's stage computer. He sets them on,while Elson is supervising the whole PA sound system mixing the vocal track with the live instruments.

If these are the kinds of people they employ, where are they getting them, prison? No professional in their right mind would resort to this, under any circumstances. It puts the band in a worse light, and the lights are dim enough these days. You need to take a photo of Neal's ass, so you can kiss it more often. Your agenda is showing.

Dude, if you think you are right, why must you keep coming back here? It will never come out. Azoff and his millions will shut it up. Don't worry.
I just have one question...
How do you defend the guilty and how do say Augeri has class? He should be ashamed of his actions.

Hi there Craig. Seems you are a masochist. You like making a fool of yourself. NIG was never on my side of the fence, even though he does admit to their use of tape.
The poll recently was 3 -1 in favour of my evidence. You might want to read first. That huge trap of yours is operated with a retarded brain.
I proved everything. You let me decide how to persue this. Instead of me saying "I went to a studio and the guy laughed" like you did, and proved nothing, I on the other hand, presented evidence.
See, at first you flatut debunked my based on Augeris' character, which has been proved to be shit. Then you came back in and accused me of doctoring up the tapes. I told you that one of your buddies gave it to me. 2-0 so far. Then you came with the "girlfriend is a slut card"and that failed miserably. 3-0. Then you went and got rebecca, Rusty and Marci. Failed again. 4-0. Now you are going to the "Elson doesn't have an earpiece card." Make up your mind dude. 5-0. Blowout.
Just leave already.
I still want you to come out and enjoy a one on one asskicking.

Why would Kevin need cans to hear a click track, when he's got monitors in the booth?
And there are other mixing boards. One off stage next to Neal, and Jon has his own little Mackie board.
I have disagreed with Deano on this subject, but there are certainly extra vocal tracks in the choruses. Which have to be cued with a click track.

But honey, DBoy has already said he had proof that Jon's Powerbook was not involved one bit. Everyone uses the click track.
Elson makes sure the the front speakers, don't over ride the side speakers, and insures you have an enjoyablr evening, no matter where you sit. Be it next to a concrete slab or underneath a steel beam.

Never said that. I don't know how Elson is doing it, but it's happening. Hey, who cares how OJ stabbed Nicole, he stabbed her.Elson makes sure the the front speakers, don't over ride the side speakers, and insures you have an enjoyablr evening, no matter where you sit. Be it next to a concrete slab or underneath a steel beam.
Then why does everyone bitch about the sound in almost all reviews?
Starting to think Kevin is overwhelmed, trying to pan out sound, mix sound, and cue the tape.
YOU have nothing Pit. Except a collection of garbage photos.
Pit wrote:But honey, DBoy has already said he had proof that Jon's Powerbook was not involved one bit.
Everyone uses the click track. It insures they start together on a song. In the old days drummers would just count one two three four, and click their sticks together, but in front of 10000's of screaming, adoring fans sometimes it's just not enough. Elson makes sure the the front speakers, don't over ride the side speakers, and insures you have an enjoyablr evening, no matter where you sit. still nothing.....

I have proof, yes ILLEGAL boots. Hey, call the FBI, they can rush over here and arrest me. Oops, the boots are in a safe deposit box.

A few years ago,I witnessed the "method" we are discussing here: a concert situation with recorded voice tracks & live instruments. The band’s lead singer had a rebel flu and a nasty laryngitis, but they had a firm contract they had to honor,so they did it “Journey” style (sorry, couldn’t help it).
They went in the studio and took the vocal tracks out from a live CD they had previously released;then they loaded the tracks in the keyboard player’s computer.18 songs, even the 3 tracks for the encore.I watched this closely. The keyboard player had the click track as well as all the others in their ear monitors. They would start off the songs,do some ad-libs,then the keyboardist would start the voice track. The lead singer would be either in the dark so no one sees the first word of the song(that’s the hard part to match, even if he has a click track),or he would hide his mouth behind the mike to "cloak" his vocal intro. After that, everything looked so natural…Funny enough, the backing vox were live, the bass player and the guitarist were singing for real.I saw all this first hand, backstage, plus someone from the tech crew gave me some more technical details.I also went to the mixer. The sound guy had monitors in which he heard the overall sound and made sure the taped voice blended with the live band perfectly. That was his only task.Oh,yeah and to keep the singer’s mike muted during the "singing".
I believe that’s the procedure,no matter if it’s the No-One-Heard-Of-Them band or Journey.
I have to say this...If I wouldn't have known (and seen) the inside story,I would have been fooled... especially if I would have been in the audience. The noise, the energy, the lights and no terms of comparison make everything look perfectly fine. The audience can be fooled easily.

Fooled? Not hardly.
Seems to me such a timely, ‘oh shit this guy just ate us for lunch’ “flashback” should have been posted days ago; At the very least hours ago, maybe even months ago. Funny there was no mention of a name of the “alleged” frivolous band in question. Just an awakening flashback huh Shania?
Eric was right, (and BTW he has as much leeway and posting rights here as anyone else, and makes more sense) it’s a Perry thing pure and simple. Too many are too quick to preach it’s not a Perry thing, and the ignorant logic is radiant; Absolutely friggin radiant.
You guys have no freakin idea what kind of human you are backing here. He couldn’t deal with a band concept, and almost ruined Journey. He still tries, with getting old friends who are now turkey farmers to leak ‘Arrival.’ He releases w’Sony a trumped up version of ‘GH’ in ‘Essentials’ just before the 2001 DVD hits the shelves (and BTW still went #1) Arranged the release of a GH DVD essentially killing the Warfield DVD, and then begs for forgiveness, with the help of JK in getting the Houston DVD OK’d by Neal & Jon in a lame effort to squash the Dallas DVD. He’s out of options now, and so are you. The current tour will break Summer tour attendance marks, and the Dallas DVD will make it to market. It will be one awesome DVD to own spanning 30 years of musical history, and leave no doubt that there was a Journey before SP, and there’s still a thriving JRNY after. It’s incredibly sad that you reach to destroy another human, rebuke another strong tight knit family of wonderful people just to relive a few moments from childhood, or the backseat of that ’78 Camaro.
Someday love will find you; break those chains that bind you. Sad sad sad.

This is the best you've got? Turn this into a Perry thing in order to take the heat off Journey? Take that to a Perry board if you want to fight about him. This is about Augeri, Neal, Jon, Ross, Deen and all the people who may be assisting them. Seems like you are trying too hard to bury this. You are one of those "fanatics" that thinks they are taking up for the band, but you are really making them look worse with every post. One guy who worked for them got fired for this kind of stuff. Keep this up and you'll be lucky to work for Photomat. Do you think you are convincing people that they are wrong for believing this? Think again.
