I'm really not understanding this. So many of the Augeri fans said the reason they liked him being in the band was because he could sing the Journey material "the way it was written". (Some were even stupid enough to say he sounded more like Perry than Perry, or that he was better than Perry ). Well, from what I'm hearing this other guy can't do that, but some of you are still glad he's going to sing it.

If they're doing this just to finish this tour, then I guess they did what they had to do. If they are doing this just because Neal wants a harder rocking sound, I hope that after this tour they go back to the Soul Sirkus name and retire Journey.

Yes! JSS is an amazing addition to the band. I really wish I could see this. I am looking forward to any recordings from the tour.

And I want to add: if the US fans can take this new singer, come back to Europe. We love JSS over here!

Good point I never thought of: JSS has his own following, and is big outside of the USA. Journey has said they want to go back to Europe. This change would make it MUCH easier.
