What would Journey or Augeri benefit by SA coming back? Nothing.

SA's "hiatus" is about as genuine as Tommy Shaw saying DDY was welcome back in Styx in 1999.

In all actuality, I really don't care, but this has been fun.

I am going to bed. Thanks for the laughs everyone!

And yes, I am as big a moron sometimes as others are, and I freely admit it  .

I don't know if I even want to get into this. Basicaly, if you remove 'all matter', which most people would consider 'things', empty space itself still has physical properties. Einstien even had to admit that empty space could curve space-time. You can get into all kinds of things, like "dark energy" and "string theory" All I can say is to go read up about it, if you really want to. The bottom line is that a vacuum is ABSOLUTELY a 'thing' because it has physical properties...if you don't agree with that, you are disagreing with Einstein.

Steve Augeri didn't sue the band, at least not yet.

Even Einstein was wrong occasionally.

I saw a great program on "string theory" recently. Prett cool stuff.

Answer the question! We know your feelings on the band and the use of tapes. However, you continue to state Augeri is out. I have no idea whether that is the case or not.

My question is if this is the case, why keep up the charade that he is still a member of the band?

PR purposes..Journey paid him to be quiet....a gag order if you will.

He is NOT ever coming back. You have a better chance of seeing a Wherewolf rollerblading in green tights tonight at a KKK rally in Seattle, than you would of ever seeing SA again.

People would still deny.
They would claim that Svante or Deano took an old recording of Augeri on an off-night and doctored it to appear that it was from a recent UK performance.

So?
It was also impossible to tamper with the bootlegs Deano uploaded on here and his blog.
Yet still, time and time again, people alleged that Dean has spliced or magically overlayed the Vegas dvd on-top of an actual live concert performance.

Myeself, I never heard the Vegas dvd as the the live template correlation. Takes more than a sylable Augeri sings the same most nights for me to do that.

Ignore him.
We already know he is a true blue George Dubbya fan.
If Red is willing to stand firmly behind a criminal running the nation, is there any suprise he remains steadfastly behind a criminal at the helm of a rock band?

You can't be happy with your 19 ranking for the Lions can you? You want to challenge me yet again? Next time, I will take no prisoners. My delivery was awful, but I did my homework, and the results are undeniably clear and factual.

Which one? There are 3, maybe 4 criminals in the band. I just can't decide who the bigger asshole is, Neal, Ross or Friga. I tend to give Ross an easier time, because well, he is a bass player and has no limelight. Neal and Friga? Tough. Both supreme assholes. I give Deen a pass.

Who cares.
You also thought "The Place in Your Heart" sounded awesome "live".
Meanwhile, the vocals are ripped straight off the "Generations" cd.
It's so obvious it's laughable.

Too bad. I loved Schon's guitar live on that song. However, even I could sing it as well as Augeri did. Hell, I could sing it so close to Augeri, you couldn't tell the difference.

Dude.. editing is editing unless you are suggesting that RND is a complete tech idiot. The chain of possession was never clear on these boots. Anyone having any program for sound at all, could create these any way they want to.

How?
The ambient crowd noise didn't match Vegas, only the lead vocals did.
As Jeremy already stated ad nauseum, it is impossible for someone to strip and isolate just the vocals off the DVD.
Not possible.
Only people iintimately involved in the dvd's production would have access to that (Nocturne, Shirley, mngt, etc).
