I'll throw my own in as well.....

I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted to wrongly imply anything negative about those in this forum, and I personally apologize to any MR member, family member or American who was offended.

I don't want my verbal slip to be a diversion from the real issues, I will continue to fight for a change of course to provide real security for our forum, and a winning strategy for Journey.

God Bless Melodic Rock!

Ah, isn't that just adorable. Maybe your Koolaid band of worshipers buy into your phony ass dog and pony show. Nah, you are nothing more than a sociopath grifter, in addition to a backstabbing liar (listen up ladies), opportunist and a pitiful excuse for a human being. You take up way too much space on the planet! Just what the world needs, another slovenly, self obssessed, hatemonger. Oh and by the way, if you want to keep receiving payola from the Band, it might behoove you to refrain from sharing your "insider" information to anyone and everyone you come across. I'm sure your "buddy" in the Band who confided in you about the $2million Augeri received to sign the gag order and disappear into the sunset, felt you would keep that little tidbit to yourself. Obviously that person is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. You couldn't keep you mouth shut if someone poured super glue in it!!!

Welcome back "The King of The Board". You and the Stepford bunch can jerk each other off all day, everyday. Now EVERYONE is on the same toxic page with you. This isn't a forum, it's a house of horrors with you at the head of the table. If the Journeymen think you are their saving grace, maybe they all need a career change. I hear The GAP is hiring!

Oh yes, one more thing, Howard Stern sucks! The only thing that sucks more, is your pathetic imitation.

Have a lovely trip to your next hangover.

Before I finally started participating here, I tuned into this board daily. I always looked first to see what Deano had to say -- funny, crude, thought provoking, and informative. I like his balls out approach and his passion for the band. I appreciate the inside info, the bootlegs, and the comedy. Roast me if you want to but I'm just being honest.

This forum is so much better than that crap at BT. If I see another 'An Open Letter To The Gentlemen Of Journey' or any other lame ass post by asswipes like Rusty, I'm gonna puke. That's why I come here. I don't mind if people go over the top with insults and have nasty debates. It's so much better than someone posting an original song about SA or writing a poem about the 'guys'. yuck.

Exactly. Same old Deano please, just without stepping over that line.

What line? You have not drawn one. I said the last time he, and you, went bonkers that it would happen again. You do NOTHING about it. What, banning him for five minutes is supposed to send a message or something? He'll calm down for a while and then it will all build up to what it was a few days ago....and then the cycle will repeat. Have you not seen that yet? Like I said, YOU are the only person who can do something about it - and, for whatever reason, you refuse to. We'll be right back in this same situation early next year.

Welcome to the insane asylum! I couldn't agree with you more on Jackass Central. It's nice to see someone else escape that waste of internet space. Pretty soon, all the wiggle weirdos will have their wish, and there will literally be no other postings over there except "I want to sniff Augeri's crotch while sending positive vibes to Mr. Awesome" threads! I wish Andrew had an "ID Check" at the door of MR to keep all those wiggle wack jobs off of this site!

Sorry, if you don't like it - but I'm not the cause of the problem. I'm not 'complaining'...just pointing out what should be obvious.

Wait...Deano told YOU this stuff too?! Cheese and crackers, I thought I was special. Apparently not. Did he also tell you about the Journey CD with Perry's vox out and Jeff's in, or was that one just mine? Did he mention to you that it was management that was behind the lip-sync'g thing, not Augeri, but that Augeri went along with it?

Come to think of it, I'm starting to wonder how many other people he told this stuff to with a "shhh, don't tell anyone." Too weird...

Macca IF that is true it is most likely not a "pay off" in the way ur thinking. Augeri was a partner in the band (not all partners are equal btw). When any partner leaves any corporation they are entitled to take their share of investment returns w/them. Usually there is some negotiation as to exactly what is what. That's where the lawyers, accountants & actuaries come in. & I would imagine that is what has been taking so much time before an official announcement could be make. These things are not always straight forward & they're rarely quick.

I think we are all aware of that. Now can we PLEASE just give it a rest and get on with things..........? If you really want to know what may be turning the 'average guy' away, it's possible that it's not Deano's rantings at all, but all the bullshit that's going on right now. At least with Deano, he says what he thinks and then moves on. This is getting ridiculous!! And now I find myself not bitching about Dean's remarks, but bitching about the bitching about Dean's remarks. GROW UP PEOPLE!!! We are all adults, aren't we?

No one is turning away because of Deano. This forum is the most popular one because of Deano. Before tapegate, the Styx forum was kicking this forum's ass. Now it's the opposite, with a couple of Styx regulars now posting in here way more than they do over there.

Sounds like Augeri is well out of it and can go on with his life. He took a lot of flack before so he is probably immune to any more. He did what they wanted him to do and earned his two mil. Maybe he will buy a few Gap franchises.

That's fine, JR. You don't need to tell me any secrets. I won't be disappointed. Why am I seeing another one of those "double standards" in your post? So, whatever information Dean might be privvy to is NOT to be held in confidence?! I'm assuming that whatever Dean (or anyone ELSE here) knows about the band that is NOT open to the public, should likely be held in STRICT confidence and NOT shared with anyone. Yet, the only person you're coming down on is ME, even though I was the recipient of information that most likely should NOT have been shared with me to begin with. So, to follow YOUR logic, you should probably NOT be sharing any of your secrets with Dean either...or maybe foremost.

This is laughable...IF Dean learned anything from the band directly, do you think they said, "Okay Dean, look, go ahead and pick out about 6 to 8 people that you believe can keep these secrets and tell them...with a warning that they tell NO ONE." I'm QUITE certain that whatever was told to Dean was told in the strictest confidence. He blew it...not me or anyone else on this board. But Dean is above the law anyway, correct? :D

I think she indicated that Dean told her. Whoever told HIM started the "rumor" and is just as much at fault as Dean for continuing to spread it. If it's true, it never should have gotten out of the band's inner circle. But who knows, maybe this will be confirmed in Andrew's interview...or not.
