That's a bit harsh, and I think she is waaay too liberal, but I would rather have her than that fat pasty fuck Hastert, who KNEW about Foley fondling little boys, errr, buying them presents and saying they "look good in that towel."

I am a betting man, and as of right now, 908P, I say the Dems pick up the Senate. Webb holds on in VA, McCaskill gets the STL and KC basketball vote and beats Talent in MO, and Tester shocks all and carries Montana. It could happen.

Pelosi is from Baltimore originally. Can't stand that witch.

I think the Dems get both houses.

For the record I voted a split ticket.

Yet for some reason, the $11K per student per year doesn't ever seem to make it's way into the classroom. They just keep raising taxes "for the kids" and still, not enough money for schools. I'm done falling for that scam.

Yeah, we're all blue here in Michigan too. Since the Dem gov. took over 4 short years ago the unemployment rate has ballooned to almost 8%. "Our rolling blackouts" are well under way

I promised my listeners on the air today that if they went out and voted, I would quit playing political ads tomorrow. Of course, I also filled my gas tank cuz gas will be $3.50 by Friday.

Oh, and you can have an abortion in South Dakota again.

At the risk of sounding "pompous," the actual figure is closer to $5000 to $6000 in California, per student and it is based on each student's average daily attendance. The money comes into each school district and immediately goes into the district's general fund. It is the DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION for each district that decides WHERE and HOW the money is spent from that general fund. THEY decide how much money goes to each school and then in turn, THAT site administrator creates a budget based on that money.

I guess I'm not sure how Pelosi is stopping that money from getting into the classroom.

I'd like to take a moment and congratulate all the Democrats (you know who you are)and terrorists out there, whom I'm sure we'll see out in the streets celebrating in the coming days. It's sad that this country no longer has the intestinal fortitude or moral fiber to win a war anymore. The terrorists CANNOT defeat the U.S. military, they knew that their only chance was to attack U.S. citizens through the American/world/liberal media. They have succeded thus far. The Democratic party that is for a terrorists bill of rights along with a slew of other protections including rights through the same U.S. court system that found O.J. not guilty, is now in control of the house and perhaps the senate. This is the party of Sen. Dick Durbin who equated the American military with the likes of Nazis and Pol Pot. Make no mistake, terrorists world wide have scored a major victory.
Luckily, I have faith that President Bush will continue to execute the war on terror the same as he has been doing. Hopefully by the time of the 2008 elections the American people will see the difference in the Congressional and Executive leadership.
There was one reason why the American people weren't forced to accept the amnesty of millions of illegal aliens recently, and it wasn't because of President Bush. It was solely because of the conservative leadership in the House of Representatives. Now that is gone. The amnesty and legalization of these illegals will now continue unimpeded. (before I get accused of being a racist or bigot, please know that my last name is Gatica. The name is Spanish in heritage, I am hispanic, I AM NOT a Mexican-American, I am American)
Congratulations also to the new senator from Minnesota who is the first Muslim to be elected to the senate. I'll give you one guess which party he entered through. May we all live equally in misery, in this liberal utopia (the rest of you have some catching up to do with us up in Michigan)

This image of Democrats and terrorists dancing in the streets together is a little outlandish, don't you think?

It's sad that this country no longer has the intestinal fortitude or moral fiber to win a war anymore.

Unlike the good old days of Vietnam....

The terrorists CANNOT defeat the U.S. military, they knew that their only chance was to attack U.S. citizens through the American/world/liberal media. They have succeded thus far.

How have Islamic terrorists "attacked" US citizens through the media?

Luckily, I have faith that President Bush will continue to execute the war on terror the same as he has been doing.

Have you read the joint editorial from all the major armed forces newspapers/magazines calling for the resignaton of Donald Rumsfeld? It's no secret that the US miliitary barely has a voice in the decision-making at the Pentagon and the White House...that the Joint Chiefs of Staff have much less power and influence than they did five years go...that there is wdespread discontent amongst the top brass who believe that the "war on terror" has been badly handled.

Meanwhile...the secular state of Iraq is in chaos...the Islamic state of Iran is growing stronger...and the 'special relationship' between the US and the Islamic state of Saudi Arabia continues despite the fact that the ideology, the finance and most of the terrorists themselves in Al-Queda come from...Saudi Arabia.

And you want this strategy for the war on Islamic terrorists to continue unchanged?

The amnesty and legalization of these illegals will now continue unimpeded. (before I get accused of being a racist or bigot, please know that my last name is Gatica. The name is Spanish in heritage, I am hispanic, I AM NOT a Mexican-American, I am American)

So it was okay for your family to come to America...but not anyone else?

Congratulations also to the new senator from Minnesota who is the first Muslim to be elected to the senate.

The implication here is that ALL Muslims are a threat. It must be so exhausting living with such wild paranoia...

Where do you see the word together, Matthew????? They will both celebrate seperately.

That was the first and until now the only example, exact same tactics used by the Vietnamese. Millions of Cambodians were slaughtered after our retreat. Which does not bode well for the Iraqis who believed in us

They have attacked the morale of our citizens, much like the Vietnam war. Did you know that CNN contacted the terrorists asking for video footage and promised them "a fair shake" and proceeded airing video of terrorist snipers killing U.S. soldiers who were conversing with Iraqi citizens?

Yes - I'm sure the Democrats wll be celebrating their resounding victory. But the terrorists? I'm not so sure. Bush has radicalized the entire Middle East - and he is a terrorist recruitment officer's dream - and he has bungled the war on terror and has also lost the goodwill of his own military.

That was the first and until now the only example, exact same tactics used by the Vietnamese.

It's amazing that America has learnt nothing from history in that case.

Millions of Cambodians were slaughtered after our retreat. Which does not bode well for the Iraqis who believed in us

No, it doesn't.

Woud you prefer the media to restrict itself to propaganda - as it does in - say- China and Russia? Or do you believe in a free press?

Matthew wrote:My grandparents came here legally in the early 1900's dipshit.

And I bet all the good Republicans of Michigan threw a welcome party for them and helped them settle in.

It looks like you might have called it Dean. McCaskell got MO. Webb grabbed the lead back, but only very narrowly during the night with a few votes left to be counted, it could be enough to give Allen grounds for a recount. Montana is down to hand counting some that were mistakenly left out to decide that one. Damn I hope we pull this out.

That's great news, Deano...

I wouldn't be surprised if this result will speed up Tony Blair's departure and a rethink of the British strategy in the Middle East too.

Yes, there certainly is a God and he has nothing more to do with today's politicians, both Republican AND Democrat, than anything else. The Democrats are included in your "assholes" terminology.

As far as crusades, if you're honest, the Democrats are most likely going to be no better than the Republicans they are replacing. I don't expect any major changes in the way business is done in Washington, meaning we will see as many ethical/legal scandals as we've seen over the past few years.

We voted on a $1 a pack tax increase. I would have MUCH rather seen a vote to ban smoking in public places vs. just taxing smokes. What you pay for cigs doesn't directly effect me, but breathing that shit does.(except for those whose kids will now go hungry or shoeless cuz you just HAVE to have a pack instead)

Why don't you just decide to patronize only establishments that are willingly smoke-free? I hate smoking also, but I would rather exercise my freedom of choice to go to restaurants that meet my requirements, not the government's.
