Is the BB album "Saturate" available at iTunes?
If so, listen to "Home", "Natural Life", "Shallow Bay"
and "No Games".

Hmm, I don't have an Ipod (I know, I'm behind, lol) so I'm not sure if I can get into itunes but I'll try!

Another band you might want too check out is Shinedown , incredible live show awesome vocals !!

Saw Alter Bridge, Shinedown and 3 Doors Down last year and it was a great show Bummer was AB only got like 40 min, but Shine down knows how too preform a bit heavy but a good band.

Already love Shinedown, awesome band! My son's 3rd fav song is Shinedown's version of "Simple Man". First 2 favs are "Down By the Seaside" by Led Zep (he called it "people turn away" when he was 2, lol) & "I'm Still Here" by Goo's John Rzeznik from his fav movie Treasure Planet. Kindergarteners  lol

Been listening to the Goos since 1990 when they still sounded like a garage band!
I love the Goos although their last 2 have sounded alittle too mellow and uninspired to me...
"SuperStar Carwash" is definitely my fave :)

I love the Goos too, Johns's voice is awesome. 8)

Ok so my favs from Alter Bridge now are "One Day Remains" (first time I heard it was in the car & I kept turning it louder, & LOUDER, lol. What an awesome song!), "In Loving Memory", & "Down To My Last"- can't help but sing along with that one, great song! "Metalingus" DOES kick your ass, so does "Watch Your Words". GREAT cd!!

His downfall was getting married...
First 2 albums he was a fucking angry animal!
Then he got married and all that angst dissappeared, along with
alot of the great emotion that drew me to Pearl Jam in the first place.

Anyway, back to Stapp...
Dude is the definition of a prima-donna, whiny bitch

I have no respect for that dude, none!

I know that is your opinion and you are entitled to it but I must say I feel you are very wrong about Scott Stapp. First off the Eddie Vedder argument is tired and old. Creed haters used to use that as a way to bring the band down. The only singer Stapp has stated to get influence from is Jim Morrison of The Doors. Wow in your argument it sounds like your talking about another singer brought up on this board ten times a day! Scott Stapp had a lot going on in his life and he has made mistakes just like you do! Fame has a way of altering a person’s personality that is something you and I can never understand so that is why I don’t normally condemn. Stapp’s talent is not wasted as his solo album, The Great Divide, contains lyrics and vocal brilliancy that is equivalent to that of Creed. That album shipped Platinum despite the fact that he was the one blamed for the Creed breakup and despite the fact he has made a few mistakes. On the other hand, Alter Bridge’s album has only reached Gold and it has been out twice as long. I love both bands though and I used the comparison to show that he is not “wasting away some serious talent.” Stapp has come forth a number of times earlier this year to admit he did something’s wrong and apologize for his mistakes. His lyrics have helped me out of some dark, terrible, and scary times and I’ll be damned to let his character be degraded by someone who really doesn’t know of what he speaks. I have to say I think I am losing respect for you but I know you don’t care about that. If not respecting Stapp from what you “heard” by haters than that is your loss!

I got to see that tour also. I have to say I didn’t enjoy Shinedown that much they were okay. The lead singer was talking way too much and it kind of annoyed me. They did a classic rock cover that I can’t think of right now but that was pretty cool. I went to that tour specifically for Alter Bridge but I was blown away by 3 Doors Down. I had heard their songs on the radio but never really bought any of their cds. That band was so tight and finely tuned it was absolutely amazing. I am now a hardcore 3 Doors Down fan because I got to see them that night. I believe Alter Bridge only had half and hour and it went by so fast. Myles is a great guitarist as well, his solo was a lot shorter than Tremonti’s but it rocked. They still have some work to do because the sound was a little muddy at my show but it was still good. I think they picked up some 3 Doors Down and Shinedown fans.

In response to your question earlier in this thread about Stapp’s set: On his solo tour he played everything off The Great Divide except for You Will Soar & Broken. As far as Creed songs went I believe he played My Sacrifice, What If, One Last Breath, My Own Prison, With Arms Wide Open and Higher. The set list for the INXS tour was very short and divided half solo, half Creed mainly because he was trying to appeal to the INXS crowd and he felt he needed the Creed songs for that. The set, though short, went over really well and the INXS crowd was definitely getting into him, a lot of people I talked to were very impressed.

I happen to like alot of Creed's music, just never a fan of Stapp.
So your saying all the press this guy has had, even just last year with his drunken brawl with 311
doesn't entitle me to not really like or respect the guy???

But to take low blows and silly cheap shots at me like that,
after I thought you and I were on good terms, is a real downer...

First, I hope you are not getting me confused with Classicrockldy because you said CRL. I admit I did jump on you hard and I really didn’t mean it come out so harsh. I like your contributions to this site and you are considered a regular while I am probably just a lurker because I don’t post that often though I view the board many times a day. It’s just for the first time since I joined this board I understand some of the thoughts behind the Perryloons comments and even the supporters of Augeri. Scott Stapp is the only singer that I am loyal to 100% like some are with Perry and some are with Augeri. When I read those words I just said all that came to mind right then. I apologize for the low blows and you are right in some of your response. I just wanted offer a counter argument for those who might not know Scott Stapp that well so they can give him a chance. I just didn’t like your delivery so I offered one that you might not like. I am sorry again. By the way I love the Goo Goo Dolls also, I have every single one of their records including an original CD of their debut album from 1987.

I have it and I disagree that it's " horrible". I think its pretty good....very Creed sounding. I like The Great Divide and Broken. The guy writes some honest feelings and the lyrical content on the whole thing kinda shows hes done some more soul searching.....working on bringing himself up from a fall. It does come across a little condiscending, sometimes, but I don't think he means it that way....think he just wants to encourage others who are in the same place as him.....reaching out to relate. He also has the influence of his family...I think his father is a preacher or was......and he's had struggles with their relationship and with religion.....seems to have fought it. There is a dicotomy going on there...between temptations and his draw to them.......and his faith. He struggles with it all......comes out in his lyrics. His struggles help in the process to write some good songs sometimes, though, imo.
